I had such a great experience here! Dr. Hattan and all of the nurses are so kind and helpful, and they always took the time to answer any of my questions and this is my first pregnancy, so I had a lot of questions. If I ever had to call the office with a question or concern I would leave a message and one of the nurses would get back to me very quickly! Overall, I only have great things to say about this place and have no complaints!
Everything has been a mess since my first appointment! Stuff didn’t get scheduled right and now I’m set for surgery on August 24th and they don’t have my authorization done with my health insurance. I saw Doctor Gibbons on July 11th and they scheduled my surgery on July 18th. I looked at my insurance and nothing had been sent. I cannot put in for my vacation time yet or anything because I don’t know what is going to happen. Im running around signing releases at other doctors when this should have been done a month ago. I have my preop appointment on the 16th and don’t even know if I need to go. That’s $80 a visit and it might be for nothing. I will say that Dr Gibbons is AWESOME! He treated me so well. He was nice to me and understood what I am going through. I would suggest him to anyone. I kinda feel like this is a joke to them! Like my health don’t matter! I understand they are busy but so am I. I work full time and on top of it I don’t feel good that’s why I need this surgery.
Wanted to change physician since my mother didn't like the first doctor, who is Nicole, and the front staff didn't allow us to change.Clearly, my mother won't come back but I didn't see the problem if she just wanted to find the one doctor she would like to come to.
Sometimes there is a wait, but that needs to be expected. We are not only in pandemic times, but this is an ob/gyn office. If your doc can't see you in a timely fashion, it's almost always because they are working in a sick patient, ran to do an emergency c-section or delivery, or a colleague needed help in the OR. The staff themselves are wonderful as are the facilities. Had my first kiddo here and about to have another.
I really liked this doctors office because appointment times were very convenient being a young busy single mom. All of my appointments I’ve addressed the same issue and the nurse has given me suggestions that aren’t working. I called last week because I’ve still been feeling horrible, my doctor was extremely rude and sent me to labor and delivery because she didn’t have time. Come to find out she told the Labor and delivery staff that I was being difficult all because I’m advocating for mine and my daughters health. So I was mistreated by the nursing staff at Labor and delivery Deb D specifically being told this is a waste of their time and they are far to busy for this, rolled her eyes told me I should quit school until I’m done being pregnant. All because I don’t feel good and called my doctor. This is why women of color are scared of health facilities, I’m labeled as a problem and mistreated because I don’t feel good? Currently 7 mos pregnant and finding a new OB that has time to care for me and my baby.
After finding out we are pregnant with our 2nd child, my wife set her first appointment through the clinic, we went here for everything for our first child. This time my wife went in for her first appointment for her pregnancy and was asked by the nurse performing her appointment if she was going to keep the baby? How is this acceptable treatment for a pregnant woman in a place that is meant to be a helpful, safe place for a woman throughout her pregnancy. This is absolutely unacceptable. How is that supposed to make a pregnant woman feel who has come in to make sure to get the best guidance and help possible to provide the healthiest pregnancy possible for her child, to then be asked if she wanted to keep the baby or not? I am shocked and disgusted that my wife had to go through this.
Great place! Dr. Ritan delivered both of my boys and I had a good experience. With my second pregnancy I had to have an unplanned c section and Dr. Ritan made me feel calm considering the situation. The nursing staff is very kid also. Highly recommend coming here!
The first time I miscarried the ultra sound specialist told me the news, the second time I miscarried the nurse told me the news. Not once did the doctor tell me until after she had to apologize for the staff doing so. That lets you know how unprofessional this place is. Not to mention it literally feels like you are in some herd, just get one in and get them out as soon as possible. I will never go back to this place, it was the worse experience I’ve ever had with any type of obgyn, and I have two healthy kids. The emotional distress they inflicted on me with their lack of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.
Have been going here since 2017 and the service has severely declined. Have had to reschedule multiple times because of the wait. Ex appt for 7:45 am sitting in waiting room for 45 minutes waiting to be called back. Every. Time. Very discouraging when you just want to check your health consistently.
I always used to go here and then my doctor moved. I figured I would still try it but it was not a great experience and I will not be back. I called for two issues thinking I could have one appointment and be done however, this was not the case. They only scheduled part of what I was needing but didn't bother to tell me that. I had to ask the "Dr." And she said she wasn't aware that I was there for both issues. So, I paid for a 5 minute appointment that I never would have booked had they communicated better. The doctor who want even an actual doctor just a nurse practitioner was also very wishy washy. She said I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to do an ultrasound and then said "you can schedule it at this number.. But I dont think they will find anything." Why would I do it if there is no point? She was very robotic and the entire experience wasn't great. However, the nurse or tech was very friendly and polite. That was the only okay part of the visit.
