It's a really beautiful park in Hinesville. Enterance is quite narrow but if you go all the way down you can see the wide open park. There is a dog park, playground for kids, a few different ponds for fishing, picnic areas, flat trails... etc. You can find something to enjoy here with family or friends :
Nice, easy, flat trail with a nice view of the lake from every angle. This is the perfect place to bring family, as a couple, or solo to get outside and feel like you're away from town. It's like an oasis in the middle of Hinesville. I wish people would be more considerate and not throw trash into the lake. But all in all, this place is well maintained, safe, and beautiful. The bathrooms are well kept as well.
Pretty great park overall! The pond gets overfished. But this is a great park over all with a nice playground and decent dog park.
This is a nice area. The city has really added to this area since the last time I've been. There are so many photo ops. For dog lovers, there's a dog park. I saw people fishing, walking and just enjoying themselves. Great place for families, friends, couples, singles, children and pets.
This park is beautiful, large, clean, and well kept. There are bathrooms by the front close to the playground and the smaller pond. There are 2 ponds - the small one by the entrance and a larger one in the back that is just about a mile walk if you follow it around for those looking for some exercise. There is also a dog park back by the large pond. Fishing is allowed - there were quite a few fisherman at the larger pond. We went during the week early in the afternoon and the only drawback was that the bathroom and playground were closed.
Very cute park... Definitely worth visiting!! Play ground, dog park/agility course, pond, walking trails, museum and much more! Perfect location for family photos! I visited recently and unfortunately the playground was roped off. But my little one still enjoyed waking around the pond!
If you are looking for an affordable wedding venue, I highly recommend Bryant Commons. My sister got married here and it was SO beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained and spacious. The covered portion of the park made an excellent reception spot. Michelle at the tourism and development city department was so helpful in setting everything up.
Took our son there to get prom pictures, it's a beautiful place
This is a very beautiful public park. My only complaint is the entrance to the park is extremely narrow and is too tight for two large vehicles to safely enter and exit at the same time.
Nice park in the middle of Hinesville. There's a telephone museum, areas for horses, playground, dog park, walking trail around a lake, and a veterans memorial. Good place to enjoy nature with you two footed and four pawed little ones!
