Wrongfully terminated and embarrassed. I gave my all to this company. I wanted to retire at this company. I grew up in that era, where you work the same job for 20 or more years. What a terrible experience. One year and 9 months gone like nothing.
If I could give this place zero stars I would I was there for two years only maybe two or three staff never gave up on me and they all got fired but the bad staff stayed one he sat there and watched me choke on a piece of really hard plastic cause I tried to cut my insides and It was stuck in my wind pipe and all they say is your doing that for attention I'm sorry but they don't know what went through my head that was from 2015 to 2017 so I would never send my daughter there she will never be in places like that
They're not going to help anything they literally sit back and allow the kids to do what they want, for example, they give them computers to do their school work on and my child isn't doing his school work and when we asked whats the consequences they said they can't monitor every child and that they fail school but still allow them to have the computer! He is having issues with his relationship with his father which is 1 reason he's there to begin with! and I thought they would help by maybe having a few sessions over video chat but no they allow him to make all the decisions like where tf did I send my child? While y'all over here collecting a check for absolutely nothing. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE
This is a home for kids who are having problems, so they may not appreciate how beautiful the grounds are, but I was surprised how peaceful and beautiful it is. I liked taking walks around the place while visiting a teen living there. It seems it would be a very good place to get your mind and soul together at.
My name is Melissa I Kno my husband did like 9 months there when he was 15 he spent the last 10 years in prison. He wants to be a role model to kids like him growing up. He has so much knowledge and good to show and give back . Would there be any chance he could come work with the buckeye ranch after everything he has been threw . I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on this topic ...
I sent my daughter there and she run away, and thé workers can't put their hand on them that's why my daughter was running away Everytime. Like their horrible. The supervision is just plain horrible.
I am very disappointed with my experience at the buckeye ranch. In fairness, I had intended go to the "Bucky Ranch," which is the name of friend Henry's house in New Orleans. That was my mistake. But I still didn't have a great time here. It didn't meat my needs or expectations.
Went to see a friends son . Place was clean and secure but that night he called his mom and she heard a guard picking on him and calling him names I understand that the counselors are there to help but that’s not right that the guards on not on the same page it really saddens me to see and under qualified person working there so to the guard Ncozy or what ever your name is try to be more Mature then the people you’re trying to help!!!!after all they are just kids no matter what they did !!!
I was a resident myslef twice, they they try to keep us safe but it doesn't really end well. I was jumped multiple times by multiple girls, and the girls got no punishments.
The staff in the houses aren't very good too the kids. Calling the kids names while trying to have a phone call. Won't get a good behavior out of that kind of treatment for the kids.
