Beautiful, clean campground with nice, clean bathrooms & great playground. Not a soul around except one large equipment operator in a tent. But I had to leave in a big hurry when a million flies took up residence in my car! Got out of there fast, raced down the highway at 65mph with windows down - wildly shaking a t-shirt trying to get rid of them. Drove 25 miles & still had 100 on the ceiling of my car@ Never experienced anything like it. Tomorrow they all leave or die!
Wonderful place to stay a few nights. It is free, so if you can't afford to donate at least spend half an hour or so picking up trash or something. It's nice to do something for Stromsburg since they have provided such a lovely park for us to use.
Really nice park ,mostly for smaller rigs but few long spots all gravel lots of trees grass, playgrounds and water park in season ,clean bathrooms, electric, water available and dump stations, nice walking path, definitely would stay again only draw back lots of trucks on road
The new area of the campground on the west side of the park is awesome! Cement pads, picnic table, firepit, nice grass! Water and electric hookups, dump station on north side. No fee, but donations are accepted and welcomed!!!
Great place for camping! Neat picnic areas too. Can camp for 4 days maximum. Free but accepts donations.
I really enjoy the park and the pool during the summer- theres nothing really bad to say other then to just watch your kids because like every park sketchy people do walk through but I've never actually encountered one Playground: It's really nice play equipment and theres 3 separate playgrounds so theres lots for the kids to do. Restrooms: The restrooms are your typical side of the road bathrooms. They arent nice but they work and get the job done. Dog-friendliness: This park is really dog friendly in the way that theres no one stopping you. Theres not a fence surrounding the park so a lot of your dogs safety is up to you. Picnic area: Theres kind of random picnic benches just everywhere around the park but in my experience that gives parents a place to sit and take a second from chasing the kids.
Beautiful park and campground. Disc golf is available in the park. The campground was very nice and well taken care of. We would stay there again
It was a very nice clean camp ground with a great park around with a nice pool and walking trails. The only thing I would say is a down side is the traffic at night time. Other then that we will for sure be going alot more. It's close to the downtown and a caseys if needed. Would like to see water hook ups at each site as a improvement but just filling up the water tank as we come in isn't bad. The dump station is nice as it is easy to dump in on the way out.
First off it's free! Level space and power at each site and a handful of water spigots throughout the park. A small restroom building was closed for the season. Really meant to be more for RVs than tents. It's well lit and noisy so not the best for tent camping, but it worked for a place to sleep for one night while on the road.
Very nice small shaded campground complete with electrical hookup for rvs. Has a convenient dump station and fresh water. There is a nice city park a short walk to the south and a friendly small town square a short walk to the north.
