Bathrooms are deplorable No soap Smells like pee that's been there for weeks Can not close the women's bathroom door! Kids love the playground! Restrooms: Picnic area: Patrons please put your trash in the garbage so my 2 year old doesn't try to eat or drink old food! Thanks
Really wish instead of a new pavilion they would update with decent toys as well as making it accessible for children with disabilities! All the things you climb up no longer have slides to go down. What they replaced with one of the best play places it had with something cheap and really nothing the kids can enjoy! This town needs things for children! We shouldn't have to visit other towns just to get our children quality things to do.
Big and closed off. Always nice people and kids for our kids to make new friends. We like the big slide and the flat swings. Playground: Lots of room to play. Restrooms: No TP! So maybe have some tissue. But it was clean otherwise. Picnic area: Pavilion and lots of benches to rest.
We were returning home and my wife found this park on Google. It was a great place for our 2 and 3 year old to run around and take a break from our 12 hour car ride. We especially enjoy the fenced in area so we didn't have to worry about them running onto the highway.
My 4 year old loves this park. It's close to home. The new pavilion is nice but the rocking animals could use a coat of paint along with the slide & there needs to be more mulch or some other kind of filler replaced in all the play areas.
Very clean park to take your kids to other people that are there are friendly it's also a great place to just go and have a picnic with your family or have birthday party's I think they have bbq grills out there already for you I don't remember I'll have to look when I go back and let everyone know that doesn't go to hueytown park or that not from around here
we stopped at this park as a halfway point coming home from Tennessee to Louisiana. I have a two and a three year old and we loved coming here and playing. They have several restaurants including Subway Waffle House Burger King sonic on this road. So we picked up food and brought it to the park.
Love this park and the up grades
It would be nice to have a larger walking track. Some of the batting cages need repairs. I noticed some uodates ti the playground but we have not taken our son to play since they finished. Definitely willing to up date my review if I see further improvements.
The recreation center on Brooklane was a great place for our family gathering. We had about 75-100 poke and if course there was still room left. The parking was well lit and the area was safe. The building itself was in great condition. The restrooms were nice and clean. This time it wasn't as cold as the last time I came in October 2 years ago when the heat wasn't working. The kitchen was nice and clean. A good Suggestion would be to get a good rolling bin to keep there to have for people to fill with ice and sodas/juice. Therefore eliminating cooler spaces. I don't know the exact price, but it wasn't more than $300.00 to rent.
