The office manager is great. He spent an hour on the phone with its main service center and did extra miles helping me. He goes above and beyond to solve the issue. It is greatly appreciated. This is definitely my to-go rental place.
Imagine coming in on your moving day and the truck rental place says they don't have your truck. Well, it happened to us. We booked a 16 foot moving truck in advance for 4/30/22 and when we showed up, THEY DID NOT HAVE IT. My husband overheard two other customers in the store having the exact same issue. How does this happen? And to multiple customers in the same day! The guy said we wouldn't be charged since they didn't have the truck. But guess what, we noticed a $75 charge from Budget on our bank statement this week. Lol are you kidding me? I spoke with their very unhelpful customer service this morning to get the charge reversed. This place is a joke. STAY AWAY. Save yourself time and headache and just go to Penske in Chino. They had plenty of trucks when we had to book one last minute after this issue with Budget.
To say that the truck rental situation was a catastrophe and that precious items were destroyed because of a poorly maintained truck. Or that my safety while driving was in jeopardy would only be expressing half of the experience of driving a budget truck. Save yourself time and money and go with a better company who cares. Because they dont!!!

Shahid and his staff are amazing. Always going out of their way to please the customer. I've had a rental from them for the past four months and whenever I needed an extension or had any issues with the vehicle, they were more than happy to help. Whenever I am back in the area, I will definitely be renting from this location again.
We made a reservation for a truck with them, received confirmation. Before we actually go to pick it up, my husband called in a day in advance to make sure if everything is ok. They said: it’s a good idea to call. We don’t have any truck. They don’t have anything, but they don’t tell us. We called customer service, managers, online chat, they said they would give us a response later, no reply ever. We need to find a truck one day before the actual moving day. If this is acceptable for you, you can try their business
I love renting a car from this location. Mr Shah always makes sure that I am taken care of with my rental. Chino hills Budget goes above and beyond to provide amazing customer service. I will continue to be a loyal customer to budget for their great prices and truly genuine team. Thanks guys!
Very poor customer service. I reserved a car and when I arrived to the location they told me they were out of cars and the only option was for me to pay for an upgrade for a hybrid car. The manager blamed Budget corporate for having poor processes and allowing customers to rent without them having the car and made emphasis that they are not budget but a franchisee. When I asked why not give the upgrade for free instead of asking me to pay for it, he told me the car is no longer available you know this is a lie. It is a shame for Budget to have a franchisee that blames corporate and lies in the customer face.
Do not do business with this company or location. Why prepay a week in advance to show up and they have absolutely nothing available? Their only suggestions were to pay more at the airport for a rental and get a refund a week later for the difference or to wait hours in hopes that someone returns something that you returned. I would give them 0 stars if the option was available. Caller enterprise and I not only got a better rate but a better car last minute.
Worst customer service ever. First they didn't have the type of car I rented. When "George" offered me a free upgrade, the vehicle he offered me got worse gas mileage than the one I rented. On top of this he didn't even have the car at the office. I had to wait 20 minutes for George to go get the car and bring it back. Since I leaving out of town and had not choice I took this car. However I ended up having to go by another Budget office to switch the car out because one of the tires was so bald it was going to blow out at any time. I was lucky it didn't blow out while I was driving. If I were you I wouldn't rent from Budget. Save yourself the troubles
