Budget Truck Rental

We reserved a 26 foot truck over a month in advance. We were already driving 4 hours to pick it up since prices in Arizona were over 6k insane. The day of pickup, we called after driving an hour and realizing we were going to be an hour late. They informed us that they had our reservation but somehow did not have the truck we had reserved. They offered us a 16 foot truck instead, which obviously was not doable considering there was a reason we had reserved a 26 foot truck instead of a 16 foot truck. We turned around because they couldn’t offer an immediate solution and we didn’t want to keep driving for nothing. We got a call from the inventory manager telling us there were no 26 foot trucks at all in the states of Arizona or New Mexico and we would have to drive 5 1/2 hours to El Paso, TX if we wanted the truck. We had our move-out inspection the next afternoon and were already pushing it so, of course, we had to make the drive. The truck we got from them literally poured rain water all over our personal belongings. It ruined my wedding dress, several picture albums, a 36-inch flat screen TV, caused water marks on our antique dresser and soaked countless other belongings. Not this locations fault, but if they had done their due diligence and actually had the truck that we reserved a month prior, we never would’ve had that problem.

The worst customer service! The man at the budget truck location knows nothing about the rental process and contradicts everything customer support States. My budget truck was cancelled last minute the day of. They lack in communication and leave out many small details that are crutial. Just go to pensky it will be a lot better overall. What a waste of time.

They are the most unprofessional truck rental company in town. The guy made lots of mistakes and charged me twice. I had to call the customer service and talk to them for an hour until getting my money back. They are awful. I would have given them ZERO star if I could.

So helpful and nice. Answered all of my questions and really went out of their way on an obviously busy day for them to get me in a truck that fit my needs.
