I made a reservation 3 weeks prior for this location. 10 minutes before pick up time someone called and stated my vehicle wasn't available and I needed to wait an hour which turned into an hour and a half. No upgrade or apologies were extended. When I finally got the vehicle and to my destination oil light came on. This should have been checked and services before I received the car. So so customer service. Worst budget I've ever been to and I frequently rent vehicles. Won't come back EVER! I guess if you want to rent a truck this is your location but I wouldn't rent here.
On the website I scheduled to pick up a truck on a Saturday at 0800 am at the Southaven/Olive Branch MS location. When I arrived at 0800 the door was locked and the door had a sign stating it opened at 0900, not 0800. I sat in my car until a woman with two small children unlocked the door and went inside at about 0845. I walked up to the door and it was again locked. The woman stood at the counter and looked at me standing there in 24 degree weather for 15 minutes before she unlocked the door and let me in. When I complained about my experience so far she took no responsibility for either problem, handed me the key, showed me which truck, leaving her small children inside alone, had me sign and sent me on my way with no apologies. The truck was just a truck, rough ride despite advertising to the contrary. It took 30 minutes each time the truck had to be fueled up because the gas tank is made in such a way that the displaced air in the tank constantly triggered the shut off valve at the pump. It had to be put in very slowly with the nozzle pulled partially out to work at all. When I returned the truck I informed staff about the issue and was informed that was how all of the trucks performed during refueling. Horrible experience. Budget is correct, right down to the customer service.
I rented a truck and tow dolly for a move to Miami. I picked up my truck and returned the next day to get the dolly. Connected the dolly and the turn signals weren't working. Connected another dolly and the same thing. Was told the junction box on the truck was bad and that i should notify customer service when i turn in the truck. I get to the Florida state line the next day and it storms. The cab leaks and I have to drive while trying to stay dry with napkins and paper towels. I contact customer service and get the old corporate apology and told they would give me $25 for my inconvenience. I mentioned the safety issue with the lights and trying to drive while water is dripping on me. Guy said that was all i could get. Never again Budget. I see why they call you Budget now!!!!
horrible - the waiting area is a dump - overcharged for an extra day because I returned a vehicle 1 hour after they closed on a Saturday - truck was back by 530pm - poor customer service - when I questioned it, I was told that's their policy. Never again when there are so many other options
Awesome, except the fact I almost got into an accident trying to pull into this location. Horrible location as far as traffic is concerned
Very well-run/managed & staff very professional. All was a success. I recommend this particular Budget rental location highly.
They never answer the phone so don’t bother calling
Terrible!!! I will never use them again and suggest they be boycotted!! Horrible.
Never ever ever have the scheduled trucks when needed. Very unprofessional and rude.
