My experience was awesome at this Budget location. I called a couple days ahead to confirm my reservation. On the day of pick up, I was good to go. No problems!
Horrible Experience at this location, I went to go inquire about a truck I was going to rent, the Manager was very rude and pretty much ignored me. I will not be renting a truck from this place.
Truck rental was cancelled with no warning the morning of my move. When I showed up to pick up the truck, the representative told me they attempted to call me the day before. Phone number on file was correct, no missed calls. Avoid if at all possible. Update: I got charged $50 to my card. Still dealing with customer service to try and get the charge removed.
From the beginning of my experience with budget they were rude and disrespectful. I went in with my grandfather to CO sign a rental and the guy who "helped" us who happened to be the manager kept asking us questions and then interrupting before we could awnser them. I asked about the price I would be charged many times and was never told of the 50cents per mile fee, at that price you may as well get a taxi. In the end I was charged 440 dollars for one week, when I was repeatedly told a lower price. Don't rent from this place you will probably regret it.
DO not trust there office people one bit. When I got here to pickup my truck rental the lady at the desk was arguing with someone over the phone regarding insurance charges. After I receive my bill they did the same thing to me. They are very shady when it comes to explaining the insurance charging for moving trucks. If they tell you it is $35 for the insurance it is $35 per day NOT $35 total! I will never use this location again. I would rather pay more somewhere where the employees are not being deceitful.
Lets face it...moving sux! I have to say however that I have gone to this Budget Rental a few times now and Mike makes the process a smooth one. Not only is he helpful and professional, he is fair and you can't beat the price! Hands down the best car and truck rental company Ive had the pleasure of using. I'm a free spirit and move pretty often, needless to say, I will always go back to Mike at Budget in Nashua every time.--Thanks again
The WORST place to rent. The lady behind the desk was awful in the way she behaved. She was rude when I called up just to confirm my rental. When I arrived there, she was condescending and tried to force me into buying their insurance. When I disagreed, she ripped off the document where I had filled up my information, instead of returning it to me. Also, she lied to me saying that me buying insurance from budget is the state law. This is the worst service I have ever encountered. Please don't rent from here.
I recently rented a car from these guys. I was told to bring it back with a half a tank. Well i made sure the tank was full. And the next day i realized i had left some work clothes in the car. I call them right away. They took my name and number. They said they just rent it out and would call the customer and i was under the impressikn they would call me back. I had to go Maine for three days. Never heard from them. So i caleed agian. Same thing took my name abd number and another week ent by. So finally i called agian for them to say that they didnt find them i spent 550. Was charged and than like a week later another 15 dollars was cahrge. Their policy say 9 dollar per a gallon they have to fill the tank. If u return it under. Well i put 20 in before returninh it. So it would be full. I will never ever rent from these thieves agian. Horrible customer servic. They should check the car upon return and provide a rciept.
Unpleasant experience. Be careful that they mark and owner trying to sell you unnecessary insurance, even I stated I didn’t need it. I marked the agreement that insurance is not required, they somehow still charged it against me. Totally unprofessional and unethical! Never rent a vehicle from this place again!!! A unhappy customer.
Great experience as always! Mike, the manager, was very friendly, knowledgeable and offered some additional great advice. Our truck was ready on-time with no issues. We would rent here again and highly recommend this location specifically. Thanks Mike!
