Sadly this mall has really gone down hill over the years. Many of the good stores have closed. Lots of places are vacant. It’s kinda old and dingy all over. Food court is kinda decent. Feels like they don’t even turn AC on in here anymore. It pains me cause I love my city Ventura. But the pacific view mall isn’t a good representation of our city. If you got time and the transportation I really recommend driving over to Topanga and going to the Westfield mall is much better and it’s full of great stores and places to eat. I really hope our mall can turn things around coming out of the shutdown and just do better all around.
This is a fantastic mall trying to compete with online shopping. It's ten times better if we all get off of our computers and walk on in.
I went in looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses and Angelica M. did not disappoint. She nailed my size AND style. I feel good, look good and am ready for summer... if it ever gets here. <3 <3 <3
It's a regular mall. Once a destination, perhaps for a good portion of the day. Now, though, it's a place to get in & get out.. Gone is the atmosphere of leisure. Target and Macy's... does anyone still shop JC Penney? Trader Joe's is the place you ought to go.
This poor mall. I give it three stars because I couldn’t bring myself to give it less. I grew up in the 2000s and my parents used to bring me here a lot when I was a kid and most of the mall was brand new. This mall used to be great. There used to be so many stores and it would literally take you a whole day just to barely get through them all. The mall was already hit very hard by the great recession back in 2008 and the pandemic didn’t really do it any favors either. It’s starting to look a lot like the centerpoint mall in Oxnard. I really hope they can turn things around. It still has a lot of potential and it’s in a really good location with close proximity to the beach and it’s right off the 101. It would be really sad to see this mall go.
A lot of things have change at this mall. Stores are closing down. I don't know what happened but this used to be a great mall. It's like this place is dying. A lot of great memories here.
Honestly, I used to LOVE going to the mall because they had nice clothing stores of my styles that I love.
In a lot of ways, this mall represents, for better or for worse, the decline of American mall culture. The most recognizable name among the stores is Target, and then Lens Crafters, which says a lot. Having said that, the place itself is clean and well maintained. I myself ventured into this mall so I can complete my daily cardio exercise. I can see this place being revitalized by some imaginative individual to drum up some foot traffic and improve the quality of the merchants.
This mall is small in comparison with other ones but you can find almost everything here, and there are not many people, the place is clean. I wouldn't recommend this mall to go spend time with friends or family because it's more just for fast shopping
This use to be the Mall to shop. It appears very dirty and run down. Sad as it is its just not kept up like it was. There was no Security to be seen like it use to be. I have observed allot of Police activity recentley. A week ago there was a large police pressence investigating an indecent exposure near Ross. I think the Mall was allowed to become too large causing their inability to keep up with maintenance and landscaping. Ive noticed poor house keeping with air ducts clogged with dirt and rest rooms too disgusting to take a chance to use. The open air shopping centers are a better choice. This Mall is just too much for them to keep clean and germ free! The air cannot be good to breath with Air Ducts not maintained. This is just what you can observe. Imagine what we cant see!
