"Established in 1995 in Amherst by UMass grad Bob Lowry, Bueno Y Sano now operates at seven family-owned locations in Western MA and Burlington, VT. Our burritos, quesadillas, tacos, salads and other recipes are all handcrafted with fresh ingredients and hundreds of delicious combinations. We're also a proud community sponsor. Coming here after a long day of work just hits the spot. Food was great to the beef being tender to Just enough seasoning. Small area but it has a cute disco ball for party time. My only complaint is the amount of rice compare to the beans portion. Just add a little bit moreFood: 5/5

I love Bueno! Tonight I picked up my order of chicken and red onion quesadillas and there is enough for 2 meals! And red rice and black beans, and the chicken grilled and the quesadilla hot. Just right. A great meal!Food: 5/5
Nice Mexican place in the heart of Amherst Center. I have some high standards toward Mexican food, and the food was okay, but lacked the authentic Mexican taste that can be found in Texas or California. However, to be fair, it is the East with mo decent food, so I believe it is a good choice for the students that reside in the area.
I was delivering for them and the burrito I delivered was so huge I was inspired to go and get one myself, but my 11$ "Grande" steak burrito was barely bigger than a pack of smokes. What's the secret to getting a giant one?! 3 stars because it was delicious but felt super skimpy.
Burrito would not close. Got Salvadoran w chkn n steak. Low quality and zero effort. Could have put it on the grill to hold the wrap. Should have got a bowl. Call up Taco Loco in Somerville, MA. and ask them how to make a Burrito. Do not recommend.
Food was alright at best, there is definitely better mex style food in the area. Relatively cheap for the area and feels/tastes cheaper. Workers were incredibly rude for no reason. Stared at us like we had three heads as soon we entered the building. Felt the need to discuss our appearance and style directly in front of us in Spanish and simply assumed we'd be none the wiser probably because we don't "look" like we can speak Spanish. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere where the staff at least have the decency to insult you AFTER you've left :.
I've been going to bueno since I was a freshman at UMass. Food is always delicious and quick. Consistently good in all locations.Food: 5/5
