This place was the absolute best from hospitality of the guides Christian , Eli and Arnie plus the food Arnie cooks up speechless. The stands / areas they have are endless I was lucky enough to harvest a buck with my father the same night as home I'm going to say hands down best trip ever and outfitter. Had one of the best weeks of my life there this past week! This was my first time staying at a hunting camp and was a birthday present from my mother. Just being thankful to be able to go to something like this, I came in with no set expectations. Let me tell you, if my expectations would have been high they still would have been greatly exceeded! Mike and Brian were there to accommodate all the hunters and put us in the best situations for success. All the hunters were put on deer with 3 of us taking our biggest bucks to date, and a ton more meat for the freezer. My deer being a large and mature 8 pointer I’ll be getting mounted. Everything was skinned and quartered for us too! Everyone in camp saw deer, and I personally saw turkey, a hog, raccoon and an owl. So if you are someone who just enjoys getting out there and seeing nature, come no further. As far as other accommodations come, the cabins we all stayed in were top notch! AC and heating options, electricity, heated water with a shower and bathroom. I would proudly bring my wife back to come hunt with me next time. Ms. Linda’s cooking was another huge highlight of my trip! As excited as I would be to getting back in the woods for another hunt, I was even more excited to see what was going to be next on the menu. It is very clear that Jonathan, Mike, and Brian are doing all the right things to continue making this camp a hunters paradise for years to come. I know they have my business and recommendation moving forward. CHOP SUEY!
Went on a bear hunt with Buffalo Creek Outfitters about 2 years ago and enjoyed the experience. The camp and cabins were nice as well. I was the only hunter in camp during my hunt, figured I would be bored, but Mike and his guys talked and shared stories like we had been friend for 20 years. My hunting experience: On first day In camp was able to zero in rifle at the range they have at camp. Mike and his staff provided me an overview of what to expect during my stay and answered all my questions.. My first day hunting I sat in a nice box stand from sun up to sun down and saw a few deer but no bear. After returning to camp I was presented with the opportunity to do do a bear hunt with dog and jumped on it. This was my first time hunting bear with dogs, and what an experience. It was by far the most exciting and enjoyable hunt I have ever experienced! Mike and his staff seemed to be just as excited as I was when I took down the bear, which made the experience even better. Cant wait to get back down to Buffalo Creek Outfitter for another hunt. Highly recommend BCO!
Went down for 5 day hunt. Saw 2 deer, brother saw 1, father saw 1. Went home with 3 doe. Meals: breakfast was coffee, and muffins, and donuts. Lunch was ham and cheese sandwich and chips. Dinner was a good hot cooked meal.
Had an amazing hunting trip. We had a total of four of us and our guide was awesome. The food and accommodations are great and I look forward to coming back next season!
Alot of wildlife, great turkey guide. Great hunt.
