I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are older but were clean. Service was good. I enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The pool was bigger than I thought. If you want to enjoy the outdoor pool though you might want to come no later than late July because mid August it wasn't available because it was cold. Had a room with double beds. Nearby activities: The hotel is located near everything. A great location. Not far from restaurants, grocery stores, clothing. There is mini golf and lasertag near. Food & drinks: Duffs and Anchor Bar are close if you wanted wings and lots of other restaurants and fast food places are very close Maple Road, Niagara Falls Boulevard, Sheridan all have any and everything you would want to eat.
Hotel is in a convenient central location. Although it seems like it’s busy, it’s very quiet. Rooms are clean, Beds are comfortable, rooms are quiet and lots of parking. They also have an indoor/outdoor pool and gym - both we didn’t use, but look clean and maintained Toiletries offered are body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and wash bar.
My wife and I stayed here one night for a trip to Niagra Falls. The hotel is somewhat dated and needs some significant refreshing, e.g. the cushions in the restaurant were cracked and worn, the grout and tile in the bathroom needed to be replaced, etc; however decorating issues aside, it was more than offset by the fantastic service of the staff --especially the front desk staff and the folks in the morning buffet restaurant. The outside courtyard area is excellent for enjoying a nice evening. Plenty of free parking and close proximity to the interstate and the university. Recommend to anyone looking for a clean property with top-notch staff at a reasonable price!
Convenient location relatively the University of Buffalo. Literally is only .2 miles away from the entrance of UB. The hotel overall is large. It looks to have a banquet hall, a large indoor/outdoor pool that are connected with a piece of retractable wall of some sort, a 24 hr gym area and a decent sized restaurant. Because of its location though, it seems they can book quickly and are often full enough that you can't check-in early during major events in the area. So be prepared to wait until closer to 4pm to check in. The lobby is clean and spacious but looks dated. Not sure if it's the layout that gives off this feeling. But the room looked updated to match the overall Marriott brand that you would expect at any other Marriott hotel. The bathroom on the other hand looked like it needed some refining. But it was clean. Overall, is a good option to use if staying in Buffalo to visit the University or any other local venue.
I booked a couple night stay and when I showed up to check in they let me know they were going to be shutting the water off for maintenance. This was going to be to 14 hours of no water use, but it's ok because they were bringing in porta potty's! When I asked to be rebooked at a different hotel because this was going to be too inconvenient for myself, wife and kids the front desk clerk gave me a blank stair and told me I should use the bonvoy app and they wouldn't be able to help me. I'm very disappointed in this Marriott and how horrible the customer service was.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Hotel restaurant was good as well. Lots of amenities avail as well.Rooms: 5/5
Hotel: -So we scheduled a room about a month in advance. We arrived and they told us our room wasn’t ready yet. Ended up waiting an hour in the lobby before our room was ready. -When we finally got the room it was 5 floors away from our family. Which would be fine if we didn’t book a month ahead. -Both pools were out of service, indoor and outdoor. -The smell in the hallways was dreadful. -Decor reminds me of the shinning. Definitely need updating. The restaurant: -When we first arrived at the front desk the waiter was on his phone talking to his girlfriend or something and we had to be seated by one of the guys cleaning tables. -Paper menus that were soggy. -When we placed our order we ordered 3 steaks and then after 30min of waiting they come back to tell us they were out of steak. -Waited another 30min to receive our food. -Food was delicious complements to the chef. -Tho the food was good it definitely was way overpriced.
The hotel check in and checkout timings are very stingy. Checking at 4 pm and checkout at 11 Am next day.... Also they won't give late checkout options at all, that's very bad. They have maintained the room very neatly and bed covers were very near. Just loved the parking space they have, it's very huge. Also multiple facilities like swimming pool, gym etc were available in the hotel.
Great stay as always at Marriott. Rooms were clean. Towels were soft and fluffy. The outdoor pool was closed but the indoor one is open from 6am to 11pm. Amenities were clean. Kamila checked us in and she was friendly and courteous.Rooms: 5/5
Unfortunately, this hotel does not represent the Marriott brand well. The property is pretty run down and while they are installing some new landscaping, it has a long way to go. The interior is pretty dated and the rooms are the same. Out room was pretty dingy and had a moldy shower curtain in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was some of the worst food I have ever eaten and the selection was mostly cheap pastries and greasy hot items. I was impressed that they had the nerve to charge people money for it. Maybe the new landscaping is a sign that they are about to renovate and make some improvements. If so, good for them, but they are starting in the wrong area... Safety: Well lit parking lots
