Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino

What a wonderful resort! The pool is just amazing! Me and the kiddos hit it up 3 times on our one night stay! The rooms were very clean and comfortable too! Our balcony had an amazing view! I even caught lightning off the deck as a storm rolled in! A wonderful reset walking around is like visiting a museum! The art is fantastic! A fantastic experience all around!

Balcony room covered in bird droppings. When I notified the front desk and showed them the pictures the best they could do was say someone would be right up to clean it. It’s been 3 hrs and no one has showed up. I am so disgusted that I have no choice but to stay in this room tonight. How is it possible that no one noticed this prior to my complaint. Are their cleaning staff blind???

Our reservation was incorrect, but they made it right. We got a room and admission to the lounge for an after party event following a concert we attended. Venue was amazingly intimate! I was amazed at how close we were to the performer! We enjoyed delicious cocktails and tasty cuisine at the restaurant/bar. The art is absolutely gorgeous! There are so many pieces we were sure we missed a lot. Definitely looking forward to a return. I didn't get to check out the pool and hot tub or enjoy the amenities. I will next time! There is even a spa! What?! Absolutely!

Air conditioning is basically non existent everything shuts down around 9 and none of the vending machines work so you better bring your own drinks. Went to the bar at 9:20 and the staff told me they close at 10 but already did last call so i was SOL. Definitely doesn’t feel like a resort and we will never stay here again. The one positive is the front desk and concierge were very friendly. The place looks awesome the outside but don’t be fooled!

Awesome resort! Clean resort! Not sure why ppl give this place 1 star because you can't drink in the casino. Most casinos on reservations don't allow alcohol in the casino... You can drink everywhere else, like the restaurants and your room. They have a convenience store that sells alcohol as well. Red sage grill was out of this world as well!

We always enjoy our stay at Buffalo Thunder. The rooms are clean and spacious, with really comfortable beds. We love to sit on the balcony and people watch, or just enjoy our coffee in the mornings. We are big fans of the Red Sage restaurant and bar, the meals are amazing. We also like to get breakfast at the Iguana Cafe. The staff is super friendly, the food is good, and they'll make you a mean bloody mary...just the thing to get you going! We enjoy the casino, it's clean and they have some good machines. I always utilize the Wo'Pin Spa for a massage. This week I brought my granddaughter, specifically to use the pool. All in all, a great place for a getaway.

Front desk people were friendly, they let me check in early for no extra charge. Room was really clean and comfortable and the fireplace . The restaurant on the casino level, that is a different story. Over $100 for 4 people to eat, $16 for 3 chicken tenders and a small fry. My fry bread was so soggy by the time it got out and everyone’s food was just gross. One of the servers were complaining the entire time about another server, loudly. Anyways I’ve stayed before and I’ll stay again but I will steer very clear of the restaurants.

My first time here brought my wife & my mother to gamble within the first 5 minutes. My wife won $350 bucks she is so dang, lucky I really like this casino can't wait to come back

We recently booked a Balcony King Suite. The luxurious rooms were very cozy. Bathrooms were gorgeous and included Evelyn & Crabtree products. We had dinner at the Turquoise Trail Bar & Grill. Food was delicious. Service was excellent! Our server was so nice and funny. We also spent some time inside the casino and there is a wide variety of games offered. New games and older favorites mixed across the floor allowed my husband and I to find each other easier. He likes the older games. Art everywhere including the hotel rooms. If you are an art lover like me you will looooove walking the entire property.

Inside and outside, all just beautiful. The art, the cleanliness, and the service- very good and 5 stars worthy. We did a mini getaway staycation and got the fireplace room - soo worth it and the balcony view was lovely. Only thing that sucked due to Covid and renovations, the pool and the exercise room was closed until May 2023. Still gets 5 stars for me = definitely coming back and enjoy!
