Buffie's All The Rage

Just left Buffie’s All the Rage and I cannot emphasize how much you need to come here for all your formal gown needs! They have hundreds of gowns to choose from in EVERY shape, size, color, and price range and thousands more online! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of gowns & the staff was AMAZING. Buffy is super-knowledgeable & is happy to share her many years of experience to help you find your perfect gown! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

We have bought several dresses from here in the past and had wonderful service. However that is not the case on this visit. We took my 2nd daughter recently for her first prom dress the costumer service was very lacking to the point of being rude. My daughter was very uncomfortable with the gentleman standing outside the dressing room. We did end up finding the perfect dress and very nice service at first impression. We also went to Nouri that same day they went above and beyond to help with finding a dress but since she was such a small size they didn’t have the perfect one for her but would definitely recommend that store as well.

We have shopped for a lot of prom dresses through the years and NEVER have we been treated so awful! Thought we would give Buffies a try and drove FOUR hours for the worst experience ever! My poor girl left this awful store in tears! The employees were not helpful at all...in fact we never saw an employee during our first 20 minutes in the shop and when we did we were "scolded" like preschoolers because we didn't know the rules. We tried on her 3 dress limit after waiting in line behind at least 15 girls and nobody offered to help my daughter in the dressing room so she called me on her phone for help...again I was RUDELY scolded in front of at least a dozen people because I was helping my daughter zip up a dress. When I called them out on their rude and unprofessional behavior they rolled their eyes and laughed. Other moms in line said they were treated rudely as well. So disappointed that an exciting day for my daughter ended in tears. Do not subject your daughter to this shop... they are all about the money and not the experience. I wish I had read some of the other reviews before wasting our time...seems like they should be called Buffies all the Rude!

Literally the worst place I’ve ever worked. Buffie is extremely rude and talks AWFULLY about girls and their mothers the moment they leave the store, whether you buy or not, but ESPECIALLY if you don’t buy. Always understaffed to the point of working the few employees there tirelessly and then throws them away when someone new wants to work. It’s not worth the drive to shop here when Violets, First impressions, or even Nouri has all of the same dresses with a better staff, better waiting area for mothers, and an overall nicer owner.

If you wont the royalty experience Buffies is the place to go. Me and the girls had the best experience this past weekend. Jordan was absolutely the greatest. He made sure that my girls were more than comfortable as well as all of the other ladies. I swear that he was more than amazing. Buffie has to be the sweetest as well. We can't thank you guys enough. WE LOVE YOU JORDAN...

awful awful awful! i went here to pick out my homecoming court dress. 1st they had nothing in my size. 2nd the line was long to just try on the dress and was paid no attention to when asking a question to any of the employees. i get a crazy day but this is the third time going and it was a third awful experience, didnt find a dress and the employees were awfully rude, especially for a place with outrageous prices. when i finally got into a fitting room i was rushed out like no other! the person “helping” would not and when i asked for it i received the bare minimum. they are also not shy about ripping the door open while youre changing to take a dress out of the room or unzipping ur dress fresh out of the mirror to get it off of u as quickly as they can.

My daughter went to this store and was told they only had long dresses. She was searching for something for homecoming so needed a short dress. She ended up purchasing a beautiful full length gown with a train and was told to get alterations at A Fitting Image on Rodney Parham. The store told her that girls buy lots of long gowns and have them shortened. I paid 300 for this gown. My daughter took to the alterations place, they said they could indeed shorten the dress, it was an easy process. Three days before homecoming, my daughter goes to pick up the altered dress. It was 10 inches shorter than it was suppose to and was no longer a dress, it was a long shirt. She was devasted to say the least. We learned about First Impressions in Jackonsville and was able to find the perfect dress. I feel this store took advantage of my daughter by selling a dress that shouldn't have been altered in length and sending her to an alteration store that ruined the dress. If you are in the market for a dress, it is worth the drive to First Impressions. This mistake cost us 380.00!!!

So i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! I took my 15 year old daughter and her friend to pick out dresses for their 1st homecoming. They were both so excited! Well it didn’t last long the buffie was very rude to us and other people as well. One was crying because one of the workers made her feel so bad about herself because the dresses she had gotten weren’t the right size. We left and went to -First Impressions and walk in to such a better atmosphere! The girls were so happy. They both found the dress of their dreams and the sales girls were so helpful they made out little teenagers feel so much better. I would drive a little further and have an experience getting the dress. Also first impression carries a lot of the same brans just fyi

I was really upset and disappointed. Me and my mother were prom dress shopping, we called in advance and asked if they had a selection of plus sizes. The lady who answered the phone said "Yes we do" so me and my mom gave it a shot. We drove there and I was excited to see the selection of dresses they had. We were gonna look around when their worker walked over and said "Let me take you to the plus sizes." I swear it was one little circle rack with maybe 10 dresses on it. That was all the plus size dresses they had. I'm just honestly really disappointed in places for not having more plus size dresses. I'm a size 18 or a 20 and more women with curves shouldn't feel fat or ugly because dress shops can only seem to order size 2s. Won't be going there again.

The quality of the dresses is amazing. In my opinion what they are lacking is on the customer service part. They were not friendly at all and seemed more annoyed to have to help try on various dresses.
