One guy who works there made my night. Not sure what his name was but he looks like a jacked lord farquad. He was high energy super intense, all he had to do was flex in the direction of any mischief or tomfoolery and they would kick themselves out. Around closing time all he had to say was something like “the spiders are getting louder” and the bar cleared out pretty quick. I always felt safe and had a blast 10000/100 would recommend.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! Do not go here!! When I walked in and was served right away I thought it would be a good place to hang out for the night. I’m a bartender myself so I tip my bartenders very well. The second time I went up for drinks to a different bartender when ordering the exact same drinks I was charged an additional $10 with no explanation. This was very frustrating but the cherry on top was checking my bank account later to see that there were two additional charges for $16 each. I never started a tab and so I’m guessing the bartenders decided to tip themselves a little extra. When calling Buford’s to get this sorted out I was sent straight to voicemail but wait their voicemail box is not set up. I will not be going back, Buford’s do better.

*BEWARE YOU WILL BE PICKPOCKETED*  I came here on a Friday night and had my phone in my back pocket. I go onto the main dance floor and 5 minutes later, it's gone. Similar reviews will tell you the same thing some even had it stolen from their bags/purses. The bartenders are not helpful; they say it happens all the time. When I went in the next morning, the manager mocked me and told me there was slim to no chance I would find it. He didn't let me look in the lost and found. I suspect the manager/bartenders are in on it. Very sketcky place and crowded with terrible people who will steal.

Highlight of our Saturday. Great big venue with plenty of area to hang out. Front room was great for drinks and chatting and the back room was a solid dance area. Music was amazing the night we went. Service was about as nice as you'd get for a busy bar. Will definitely be back here

We had a really bad experience there, some our phone and wallets got stolen, and the similar thing happened with our other friends as well. And after reading the reviews of different people here, I think it is a very common occurrence here and the Buford's staff should do something about this theft issue.

I ordered a drink and the bartender admitted to making it wrong.  She then said she was missing the tool to make it.  No problem.  I asked her to please give me a different one or beer.  She clearly forgets that she is there to serve the patrons.  She refused and said “bye.”  Where do you find these people?

Charged my card so many times that my bank flagged it as fraud. It was only me buying drinks and they charged my card $77 five times.

Violent bouncers. Tried to have a relaxed evening dancing. Bouncers tried to push us out in the rain.  When we protested, they started pushing women and children down the stairs. Stay away.

BEWARE - REPEATED IPHONE THEFT AT BUFORDS My iPhone 13pro was stolen from here and is now tracking in China… I found similar articles online and other comments of similar incidents happening at Buford’s!! Something is going on here. If you’re the business owner reading this, please try do something about it… As for anyone visiting Austin, don’t go to this place, it’s just not worth it. Plenty of other places nearby that had better drinks and service. Had to buy a new phone and traveling back home without a phone was frustrating!!
