Went to this location for regular maintenance and 2 retrofits on my 2500 HD Sierra. First impressions were good, seemed friendly accommodating and customer focused. The original visits went along pretty much as expected, arrived on time and left on time within reason Last retrofit was scheduled to replace heated steering wheel. Did not go as well at all, first attempt failed and resulted in the shop damaging the t50 torx bolt holding the steering wheel assembly in place. They apparently had no spare bolts to replace the damaged one which was rather amazing to me, based on the Service desk person explaining that they are know to strip and break easily. She was not surprised by the fact it was damaged. Assured it was safe to drive and with a promise of a follow up appoint in a day or so once the part was received. 8 days later I called and was informed I was wasting time by calling them, once the part was in their hands they would call me. Nothing they could do about the time it takes GM to ship them a replacement for the damaged bolt. I contacted GM directly via the website and explained the situation I found myself in and asked if they could assist. The agent agreed to contact the dealership and try to get an explanation. Oddly, that same day I contacted GM the bolt magically appeared in Sussex and they had cleared an appointment for the next day. Who knew such coincidences occurred The 2 hour time estimate for the repair ended up just over 4 hours. No apologies no explanation, just your ready to go here are your keys and your vehicle should be in the yard around where you parked it. No further comment or contact from the dealer management team. GM customer care offered a free oil change and service as a means of apology and compensation for 2 trips and 6 + hours of my time waiting time for a 60-90 minute retrofit to be conducted. Make your own choice, but I will be using another dealership going forward. I fully realize unanticipated delays happen but making amends and treating customers time as a valued resource is key to good business relationships IMO. ********************************************************* Updated below after reading the response provided to my original review. Not one person at this GM dealership ever indicated that a tool not on site was required as described below. I stand by my rating and my review of my experience with this dealership. Make your own choice, but it does seem that respectful customer experience is NOT a huge motivator at this dealership. I sat waiting for this repair, estimated to take 90 minutes for 4 hours and 15 minutes. If the service manger wanted to discuss or explain the delay I am sure he could have taken a few minutes out of his schedule to address them while I sat 3 meters from his office. I had already engaged GM customer support at that point so the dealership knew the work order #, the vin# and my contact info in detail before I arrived that day.
Friendly fast and affordable service for our Silverado HD3500.
The worst dealership ever. First they assure you that they got the brand new car for you. Then you give them the deposit. Then they call you and tell you that they actually want to drive your car as an expo with 10,000+ km, and of course you don't agree cause you want that brand new car that you payed the deposit. So they decide not to tell you and do what ever they want with the car without your permission. After that you call them to take the car and they don't reply for several days. After all you tell them you will talk to their manager or director and they quickly reply to you telling that they are still waiting for the banks response, but are more then happy to return your deposit. Don't waste your time with this dealership. Worst customer experience ever!
Amazing staff. Ran into an issue with a rear tire, they were able to take me in last minute and have me back ou ton the road within 45 minutes. Thank you very much!
Service is terrific! Sales people friendly and not pushy. Great waiting area offering free hot beverages and snacks available at low cost.

Traveling back to the USA from PEI, our 6.6 Duramax decided to throw some DEF codes. We limped it into Clark Chevy at 2:00 am on Saturday hoping when their service center opened that they could help us get back on the road. Even though they closed at 1:00 pm, their service tech Adam and manager Brad Diotte worked tirelessly to get us back on the road until after 5:00 pm. They understood our predicament and did what it took to get us back on the road home. I've never experienced such friendly dedication to customer service in my life. I will always remember the care and concern we experienced at Clark Chevrolet!
My father got a Buick Verano from this dealership in 2015 and when he passed away in 2018 there was a debt still owed on the car. The loan insurance, that was recommended to him by this dealership, did not cover him for pre-existing illnesses if he was treated for that illness 6 months prior to his death and if the illness was a contributing factor in his death. My father had a chronic illness that he suffered with for the majority of his life, there never would have been a six month window where he wasn't treated for it by a doctor, yet this was the insurance that this dealership recommended to him. When it came time for my family to sell the car after my Dad passed away, Clark's offered less than half of the Black Book valuation of the car, around $7000, which would have still left us on the hook for a considerable amount of my father's loan the insurance didn't pay out due to my father's illness being a contributing factor in his death. Luckily Sussex City Auto purchased the car at a much more reasonable offer, much closer to the Black Book valuation. With this in mind, I would say to look elsewhere if you are planning on buying or selling a car or, at the very least, be careful about the types of loan insurance that Clark's is recommending to you in order to make a sale for themselves.
Great place to buy a car, terrific staff, friendly and helpful
