I cannot tell you how much I love the people at Dawg House Storage! They do a phenomenal job working with their customers. The facilities are top notch! I was in between moving houses and needed to store basically my life for 5 months. The facilities are well lit, easy to maneuver and they tried to give me units that were close to exits to help with the moving process. The climate buildings are clean and well controlled temperature wise. I will always return to them with my business!
The facility Is clean and easy to access. There is an office on site but not usually manned by staff. The staff can be reached by phone. Most services can be done on their website.
10/10 Recommend Dawghouse storage! Chris was very helpful during my time at Dawghouse. I needed a storage unit for only a month and Chris let me pick out my dates to start my month long lease. He also gave me his number so I could text with any questions. He always emailed/ texted back within 24 hours and had great communication skills! If I ever need a storage unit again, I will be using Dawghouse!
Business rarely answers phone at business. He should have phone forwarded to personal phone and at least answer during business hours. Phone calls are not normally returned either. Very difficult to understand the move out procedure and stopping payment since you can not communicate. It is stated to sweep out which is easily accomplished.. We were able to pause payment online but left message notifying we had moved out. Still awaiting a return call.
Terrible business. They never answer the phone or return calls, and are never in the office during office hours. I moved out of my unit after 3 years of renting and they tried to charge me $335 for not sweeping up. I had no idea what the procedure was after moving out, because they don't have them on there website. I couldn't call or stop by the office to find out either. Don't waste dealing with this company.
Was looking for somewhere affordable and nice to keep my stuff over the summer without a long term lease and Dawg House was the best option in Starkville! You can rent by the month and that’s big for college students!
