First time but will not be the last! Antipasto was delicious. Personal thought... some hard cheese on it but again just my preference, but still delicious. The stuffed pork chop on the menu was the best we have ever had. So flavorful and juicy and the fig sauce...omg!! Sorry we ate some before taking pic. Bottle of Melbec, antipasto and dinner under $90.00. Food portions large and delicious.
I ordered through DoorDash. Spoke to the manager Asia. My plate of chicken saltimbocca came rotten. It was the prosciutto. The second you opened the plate you could smell it. The manager was rude and would not adjust the bill. I have ordered here before through DoorDash and they were out of stock of a plate last time and sent me something else without calling to confirm that is what we wanted. That manager should be fired. I hope the owner sees and reads this and responds back to me. I am from Sicily and I can say what a disgrace to my race/culture and food. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
First time trying this restaurant and not very impressed. The atmosphere was nice, hostess was very friendly but the food was lacking. The chicken francese came with 2 thin pieces of chicken and was very bland. The sauce tasted like just lemon and butter - I’ve had better for half the price. Very underwhelming quality for $26. My wife said she enjoyed the sirloin. Service was fine. Probably would not return as I think there are much better Italian restaurants at this price point.
Got in on Saturday evening, place was packed. Were seated in 5 minutes, and offered acceptable bread. The food is acceptable but on expensive side, asked for no mushrooms in one plate but was still served with them. Compared to restaurants elsewhere, there is much to be desired.
Split the antipasto and the house stuffed pork chop with figs. Best antipasto in quite some time and such a tender chop. Will be back againFood: 5/5
Always love it here. I have never had a bad experience when I go here. No meal has ever disappointed and there are plenty of options for gluten sensitive. There are even two items that are specifically gluten-free while others can be made that way. Reasonable prices for great food, drink, and atmosphere, I highly recommend it to the people in my circle. Dietary restrictions: Two options are dedicated gluten-free and they're delicious. Other items can be made with gluten-free pasta or some other substitution for the gluten sensitive.
Dinner Linguini Carbonara $19 from @buono__bistro. "Egg, spring peas, onions, sweet capicola, and parmesan cheese". Hold the peas. They shouldn't be in the same room as a carbonara. Even if capicola is not a traditional ingredient, I decided to try it. Seems people confuse this with salami. Salami is made with ground meat and then cured. This was an excellent version, and it was also a gigantic serving. Best one so far. No lunch menu on weekends. Tha add-on Caesar was excellent.
We are long-time customers, the staff was gracious and friendly and the food is excellent and delicious! It’s nice to be offered the rosemary twisted focaccia rolls as well! Definitely recommend!
I don't understand why this restaurant has such great reviews. Have dined here twice and found the food just OK. Good presentation of food though. Shrimp scampi had no flavor. Risotto was too sticky. Could only stomach one bit of chicken and broccoli. The House Chianti was the only positive for us. Will not be back
I had high hopes with the restaurant when I went with my husband for our anniversary, unfortunately, it did not live up to what we expected. We had reservations for 7pm and didn't get seated until 7:35. I normally don't get frustrated with being seated late especially on a Saturday night. I understand they're busy, but the lack of communication from the hostess is what got to me. They initially told us 'a few minutes' and then 30 min later there was communication. We asked how much longer and they only told us 'we're waiting for people to pay.' More often than not staff will come to customers to give updates 15 minutes past a reservation time. Once we were seated the busser who was pouring water spilled a good amount of water all over my purse and soaked my daughter's coat. No offer for extra napkins to clean up the mess so it was on me to clean up his mess and by the time we left it was still wet so we had to run to the car in the cold with my daughter because she couldn't wear her coat. The food looked great, but my risotto was over cooked and mush, my husband's gnocchi was sub-par with flavor, my daughter's Alfredo pasta was good. Overall I gave 2 star only because the waitress was friendly and the esthetics were nice.
