A local find for the traveler in this area! This is old school stuff here! Great burger, delicious fries and the best Coke ever! Yeah, it's on the side of the road but the location is very convenient. Drive through or walk-up to order. You'll have a bit of a wait, but it's so worth it! So take a moment and stop in to treat yourself! Friendly staff! Fried pies! Oh my yes! Twenty four flavors of soft serve ice cream Sometimes a little Burger shack on the side of the road is just what you need. I highly recommend this place!
I love Burger Shack! Whenever I come back home I eat here. I have been away from Helena since 2004 and I have yet to find a burger place that is even remotely close to how good these burgers are.Food: 5/5
Fast, friendly and prompt service, very clean establishment - definitely a nostalgia stop! Frequently busy, they offer both walk-up and drive-through service and we were ready for some take-out. Good variety of appetizing menu items to choose from. Our order was correct, the fries were crispy with ketchup on the side, and the cheese was warm melty on the burger, yum-yum. Next time I will probably try the barbecue or the breaded shrimp unless I’m in the mood for a chicken salad. Definitely planning to go for the onion rings too. Mr G will surely be interested in the breakfast items, funnel cake sticks and the hot fudge cake.

Called in burger and still had to wait 15 minutes! Called twice because they disconnected the first time. Burger meat was old and rubbery. Hot dog was bad as well. I won’t order food from here again. Very dissatisfied.Food: 2/5
Business opened doors to the dining area when they found out we were from out of town and were traveling back home. Good was quick and got off the grill. The staff was super friendly and courteous. Very good experience.Food: 5/5

Love, so retro! My husband's burger was cooked perfectly & I loved the hot dog as it tasted as if it came from a campfire. All I needed was some smores on the side. Thanks for some great food on our road trip.Food: 5/5
