Joel made our hardest life moment painless when it came to the final journey of my mother. We were looking for a funeral home that could organize the funeral service respectfully with Hindu customs. Joel came to our home the day after death, explained the process, understood our requirements patiently and completed the paperwork immediately. For the funeral, Joel worked closely with the Hindu priest, made all the arrangements that respected our customs and ensured that the cremation was done smoothly and appropriately. He arranged the certificates and ashes within two days of cremation, even by postponing his time off. Anytime we had questions, he responded immediately regardless of the time of the day. During the most difficult period, Joel and Magliozzi Funeral Home ensured that my mother was given due respect during her final journey. Thank you, Joel!
No words can express our heartfelt appreciation to Joel and his staff! They were extremely kind and compassionate during a very difficult time. Joel was quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. He was also very flexible with any times we needed to stop by. They went above and beyond to handle every detail! Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home in Andover handled my husband's services in August 2017. Not only were Joel and Patrick helpful and professional at all times, but they supported our decisions and made excellent suggestions. The home itself is spacious and beautiful. We have a large number of family members and friends and it accommodated a crowd nicely with plenty of parking. Top notch staff members too.
They were professional but don't sign over insurance policies to them my mom had prepaid for funeral and then signed over additional policy to them. When she passed all expenses went up. I know there are additional expenses but thought the ones that were prepaid did not go up and they did. I don't understand because contract says that those were covered on pre paid burials. I say just get all info up front before your loved ones death. Disappointed
Did not have prayer cards available, then rushed the order during the wake. The text on cards was so small it was unreadable. Also not impressed with my loved one's presentation in open casket. Casket did not have same ornate details that were shown during purchase. Church service and burial were professional.
Sadly my family has used Burke- Magliozzi funeral home many many times over the years. They have always been nothing but kind and professional and have made a very difficult time a little more peaceful. Thank you for everything you do!
Joel and his staff are professional and very caring they really helped me 2 years ago with my daughter's services and now for my Godfathers burial, Joel goes beyond what he needs to and is always available 24/7 365. I'm very grateful for all of them they make it easier to focus on your loved ones as they take care of everything else.
