Burke Park Apartments

The two stars are for the statue of Edmund Burke, the 18th Century English intellectual praised by all sides of the political spectrum who supported the colonists in their quarrel against England, but the less three is because of the rampant homeless in the park. I went to photograph the Burke statue the tent city can be seen in the background, and I was met with a barrage of epithets and curses that made my trip very quick. Be warned.

Now that its warming up there is a rather large homeless encampment here. Clearly this is a problem for our community & the nation. Changes need to be made to protect people! Hopefully we can figure it out. People deserve homes.

I understand nd kno wat nd how all of those ppl feel bein in dat type of situation. I was jus in dat position not to long ago. It discusses me to hear nd see other ppl look dwn on someone who has way much less than da average person so much I jus wanna lose it on ppl. But one thing I'm not gonna stoop as low as someone else has done. All I kno is ppl better start to cherish wat dey got now because alot of ppl are lookin EVICTION in da face as we speak so now everyone who has shunned another human bein will have to answer about dat!!!!

A nice urban park, seemingly popular with dogs and their owners.

The art hurts but it was a nice place to hang out and read a book.
