I have been coming to this zoo since I was a child. I've noticed a lot of changes. The walking trail seems to have been cut in half, they changed burger king into "jungle cafe" which is gross and expensive. In the buildings a lot of exhibits were empty and outside we didn't see tons of animals either.  They have a sand area for children, which is great they loved it. But they got rid of the milking cows, which all children loved. All in all this was a good trip and I would go back someday

Should be one of to do list in Syracuse, kids enjoyed the tour and weather was just perfect , paid 28 dollars for 2 adults and 2 kids , they don’t provide receipt or ticket

Great zoo trip with a 5 year old.  Went at her pace and therefore didn't make it around the entire zoo. Which of course means we need to go back again!  A very enjoyable family event.

Evenings are always peaceful & beautiful up on the round-top. Great views. Nice place for a quiet walk.

Went to the zoo "Rosamond Gifford Zoo" at the park. Enjoyed every minute. So peaceful. Can watch amazing animals just living their lives. The twin baby elephants are so cute!!!! Loved feeding the camel. Will go back again for sure  .  Dog-friendliness: No dogs. But there are so many other animals so it just makes sense.

I've been to this place a few times and I enjoy it every time.  At the moment some of the exhibits are closed, but they tell you this on their website, so you know in advance.  The exhibits that were open were enough to fill our time approximately 3 hours and honestly we could've stayed longer but it was just too hot.  There's plenty of places to rest in the shade and just enjoy watching the animals, a play area for tots, a snack area for a quick treat, and a gift shop at the end.  The cafeteria is currently under renovation.  There's many educational opportunities for children as they have small demonstrations set up in different areas of the park, as well as informational displays, etc.  Admission was very fair... cheaper than the movies.  All in all it was a good way to spend a few hours and we will definitely be back.

We have been zoo members for several years, starting when our kids were little. Now we have two teenagers and we still love it! The membership is worth it: deals at the store, special events, & discounts at zoos around the country.  Staff is always welcoming and helpful. Exhibits are regularly upgraded and changed so we are not bored.  Restrooms: Plenty of options around the zoo, always clean.

The Burnet Golf course is an excellent place. Fairways and greens are in great shape and well maintained. First time going there, and I will be going back. Only down side is it's very hilly. I rate it 4 out of 5.
