I have mixed feelings about this state park. I give the staff and the very clean modern bathrooms a 5 star. Also the water view is beautiful. But it is a very small park with little privacy between sites. The only reason to be here is to drive to Alex bay to do a boat tour of Boldt Castle and go to Clayton to the boat museum.
Tent camping right on the water, updated newer very nice bathroom/shower house. There is a nice newer playground also. Very well kept, park rangers are there most of the day. Beautiful views.
Beautiful area but the camp sites are very tight! If staying here I would recommend a river site if available to catch the best view of the sunsets!
This is the cleanest, friendliest, and well run park we’ve ever been in . The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The bathrooms were all clean and sanitary daily. It well be one on our come back to list. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.
Nice quiet little campground. A little challenging to get campers into a good spot. Bathrooms are always clean. 2nd year camping here for the French Festival.
Sunsets are amazing, campground is small, packed with sites one on top of the other, and the wind seemed like it was going to actively blow our tent away. If you fish you will definitely catch a whole lot of gobies. The playground is very nice, showers are warm but with no adjustable temp, and a button you have to push frequently. You will have to wait in line to pee in the morning because each bathroom cubicle has a shower and a toilet and will fill up with everyone showering.
Absolutely wonderful place to camp. Super clean bathrooms. Access to water. Stunning sunsets. I will be back!
Very, very tiny park. And it's pretty much located in the middle of nothing but farm land boonies. If you don't have a boat or fish there is really absolutely nothing to do but just kind of sit around and relax. Its a beautiful view tho. Also there are no stores close by FYI, nearest ones are a 20 minute drive or more.
Best campground on the river. It's a very small campground maybe 50 sites. Mostly electric so you don't have to listen to generators all day. Definitely a favorite spot of mine. Caught a good sunset Saturday night
What a great park, right on the banks of the Saint Lawrence River with a view of Wolf Island in Canada. Small campground with large size camper spots and friendly staff.
