Burnsville Shell & Bait

Brought a tire here to get plugged. Took all but 5 minutes and I was out the door. Very reasonable price. Also noticed a great selection of bait while I was there. Cool little place I would highly recommend to anyone.

We moved to the area about a month ago, and this place has been awesome! We rented a U-Haul truck from here for our move, got gas here several times... I had never expected to like full-service, but Mike is great! **Update: it's been almost a year, and Mike has done repair work on both of our cars, supplied our fishing excursion with some great worms, and given great, friendly, and trustworthy advice when our car got stuck in a flood. I trust him implicitly with anything with a motor, and learned the neighbors around do too. The gas is a little higher cost and quality than the guys down the street, but I'm not going anywhere else!

I drive past other bait stores to come here. I've been buying my bait here for years whether I am fishing close by or out of town. A great place to find shiners!

Mike is awesome and a very caring person. He went out his way to help my brother get to the hospital my brother was walking from his place up the road, when Mike closed the station. And gave him a ride.

I like the fact that this is personally owned. Always good bait in good condition. Only reason not a 5 star is that closes at 6 and have missed the opportunity to get bait after work. But the owner also needs a work life balance and I will continue to go there.

Fair price. Fast service. I dropped my kids' car off here without warning. I think he started diagnosing the problem that same day. He figured it out, ordered parts and I had it back the next day. Mike charges a fair price, not the typical dealership service center price gouging!

Good Bait but since the price is not listed, he seems to charge what he thinks your willing to pay. Make sure and check price before you get bait.

Mike has been our auto mechanic for over 17 years. I've always received fair, honest, quality service. I trust him so much that I have literally given him a signed blank check so I could pick up my van after hours and go on vacation. I could have given him a credit card number, but I prefer to use a check with small businesses so they don't get hit with the processing fees.

This place has the best live bait. They have crappie minnows, flathead minnows and different sized sucker minnows plus leeches, nightcrawlers, and others. They have punch cards for their minnows. It has the small town service which can be very hard to find in the cities. No longer going to Gander Mountain, Mills Fleet Farm or Walmart for my bait. This is the place for me.

It's alright small space inside the actual gas station but it has live bait! But idk if they have actual worms though cashier looks like an expert.
