Took my case with less than a month to get ready. Confidence actions speak louder than words. Truthful, honest, reads between the lines that other Attorneys don't see. Elizabeth made a statement I have been claiming, but no other attorney saw. This was just the consultation. I look forward to trial know Elizabeth took my case. A million times thank you! Getting further into the case, and although I can get frustrating to Elizabeth. She is still there and takes stress off me. In my opinion if you want the best of the best. Spend the money. She is worth it. Make sure you tell her the truth, because she cannot defend a lies. Give her proof of what you state. There are no secrets in a divorce. Elizabeth and her team are God sends, and it's an honor to have the ability to post this.
I would not recommend Elizabeth as a lawyer. She makes many promises and gives you hope until it's time to have a hearing. She quit on me for no reason but didn't even have the audacity to tell me herself. Avoided my calls and had her husband talk rude to me. Would of given her 0 stars but there's no option to that. Don't do it!
Save your money. She makes many bold statements regarding how it should go. Badmouthing the judge to me, not showing up after I've driven 700 miles one way twice. Her office workers are rude. One older woman hung up on me twice after she told me I wasn't very smart... Charming when they reference me by someone else's name. And final bill was nearly twice the retainer. Wow. And stop playing with your hair in court. I could tell the judge went easy on me because he felt sorry I had to deal with her. They have history, and not the good kind. Verdict was the same no matter what. They treated her like she didn't know how to deal with it and the attorney treated the court the same. How do I benefit from that?
Elizabeth Burr Jones is an absolutely a fantastic attorney and has helped our family over the years with many different things and has never let us down. i would recommend her services to anyone at all that was looking for an attorney that is willing to go the extra mile for you.
She is an amazing attorney and woman, i dont think i would have been as successful in my case without her help. I love how straight to the point she is, she says what she thinks and recognizes us as clients and how we feel we have been treated. Worth the money i pay. I had not committed to retaining her services yet because she puts off some uncomfortable vibes. But i had not ruled her out. She offered that if i had more questions, if my parents had questions, we could absolutely call her anytime despite not retaining her services yet. Just had the worst "professional" conversation with her I have ever experienced. I told her I was just looking up as much info i can online to get prepared because i dont want to go into this huge life changing event blind and it just gives me things to clarify, and she continued to interrupt me and ask me " well then why do you need me? You have your computer." Her tone was extremely rude from the moment she picked up the phone. I was attempting to explain my reasoning on a question and she snapped at me, "just ask me the question!" This is just parts i remember. I was so taken a back by how she was talking to me. She made me feel shame for my questions. Her and her staff assumed things before letting me even get a word out. Both continued to interrupt me and then her staff told me maybe i should toughen up.... are you kidding me? This is a case that will change the course of mine and my daughters life. Yeah i feel pretty vulnerable. I am just flabbergasted at how rude these people were. I would discourage anyone from retaining her.
I hired Elizabeth Burr-Jones to handle a child custody matter. It was a complete waste of both money and time. After the first consultation, she became completely unavailable. She would not return phone calls and I was unable to schedule meetings with her because, according to her secretary/paralegal, "We don't do things that way here." All of my correspondence was expected to go through her incompetent staff. They missed the deadline to file my interrogatories, but assured me that those deadlines "didn't really matter." When I was finally able to get her on the phone and tell her that I was unhappy with her as an attorney, she started yelling about issues with her personal life. I tried to tell her that her personal issues shouldn't affect her professional performance as my attorney. She then yelled at me that she was withdrawing herself from my case. When I asked her how to go about getting my money back, she hung up on my and refused to take my calls. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ATTORNEY!!! She'll make promises, take your money, and run.
Elizabeth is someone I always want in my corner! I have never had a bad experience with her and she has been representing me for nine months now. Her assistants are amazing as well. She has always fought for me and has always been there willing to help when I need her. I don't think I will ever use a different attorney ever again!!
Elizabeth is all talk and tells you want you want to hear until it is time to perform. She neglected several times to visit her client who was incarcerated to let them know what was going on with their case. She failed to file a motion to Transport in a timely manner resulting in a Bench warrant, and failure to appear. She is not worth the hourly rate she charges. She messes up and then has to do more work to take care of her screw up and then charges you for her mess up. I would never recommend her to anyone.
Terrible person and whoever keeps replying to others reviews makes her look even worse.
