Burton Family Restaurant (Formerly Belle' American Grille)
When I engage in conversations pertaining to Burton, Ohio, I often hear these comments made.. Maple Syrup, Amish Country and Belles American Grille!
Dating back to the 1940's this same restaurant was owned by Hosmer's and later became Belles when a woman by the name of Lillie Belle Kennedy bought it. Lillie Belle Kennedy was well known for her homemade pies and country hospitality! The stories shared by customers still coming in today are such "You could always smell the pies baking!" In the 1970's it was then purchased by Joan and George Pulling that kept the pies and great country hopitality going through the years!
On March 16, 2012 it was purchased by new owners that are excited and enthusiastic on keeping the legend ALIVE! The new updates and menu are incredible! We have found a local chef that will be heading up all of the homestyle food with both new and old touches using locally grown products!! He has put together dishes that will knock your socks off (Look out Michael Simon!) Our grand opening weekend will only begin the changes that are coming! We have an incredible staff that are eagerly anticipating the upcoming months here in Geauga County!
