This place is nice and their cider is pretty good too. If you happen to find a sunny day, the outside benches are a great spot to chill.
Amazing cider selection, pretty great service, poor food selections and menu presentation. The food I did get was not very tasty at all and so I ended up mostly tasting condiments and begrudgingly finishing my plate because I was very hungry. This place has so much room and the sort of service that would suggest that it's got a solid brewpub sort of thing going on, but really it's more like a bar that's renting a nice building. I hope very much that it matures, gets a reasonable kitchen set up, and becomes somewhere I could go for dinner regularly, but it's going to be a while before I give them another chance. My constructive suggestion? Every pub of this sort should have as a minimum requirement a burger of some sort - gluten free buns are awesome and even a veggie burger would be fine - and one or two substantial meals on top of the pseudo-appetizer kind of fare they were currently offering. Perhaps that's too pedestrian, but it's a staple and a standby worthy of inclusion on most menus in my opinion. Also sourcing is very important, especially with meats, and no one there at 7pm on a weeknight knew where their sausage from their "sausage board" item came from. If it's quality it should be something you're proud of, and of it's not you should know so you can be honest and up front with people who care. The lack of staff knowledge left us with no option other than to assume the worst. They do know their ciders though and support several awesome local brewers, so props and respect for that. My experience was more worthy of two stars but our server was great and I appreciate what they're going for, so they get three until I have a better experience.
This place is great! They have a good selection of ciders, both in house and guests taps. The place is large enough to have a few groups of people hang out. They have a pool table and table games. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Great cider selection! Went in for a meet up with an old friend back in town for the holiday. Excellent service on top of excellent selection and we were so happy! A good time was had by all. I highly recommend it.
In town for a couple of days and spent a lazy afternoon drinking cider and reading a book. Staff was super wonderful even when I was the only one in the car. Definitely check out this place if you like cider. Price was fantastic consider I stayed awhile.
My wife and I enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal including fresh-roasted wild salmon and house-brewed cider. Excellent service and fun games, too, in what may be the greenest building in Portland--literally, with the largest living green walls, etc. Woodlawn neighborhood we love you!
I'm not a huge cider guy, but a number of friends are really into it. This place was perfect. Better than most of the cider houses here in town.
A mind-boggling selection of ciders, along with a handful of old school video games, pool table, and a shuffle board. Comfy booths to boot.
Small cider bar with a great selection and a pool table. Friendly bartender too.
Wife and I came here on a whim, and stayed for a couple hours! Good selection of ciders and snacks
