Buswinka James DO

Dr. Buswinka has been our neurologist for 10 years now. These last couple of years have been quite challenging for me and my husband as Alzheimer’s has slowly taken him. Dr. Buswinka has shown care and concern for both of us. He keeps track of John as he declines and medications need to be updated or changed. We will miss him and I wish him and his family the best as he goes forward in this next chapter of his life.

My husband has been Dr. Buswinka's patient for many years and when he decided to move his practice to be exclusively in Manistee they asked if I wanted to switch Doctors. My answer was a resounding NO! This is the first Neurologist that has not treated my husband as a number or worse. Dr. Buswinka actually cares about him. I have even had the Dr. call me personally at home to check on my husband. Dr. Buswinka would have to move a whole lot farther before I would consider changing my husband's care.
