Loved Jimmy! He needs a raise. He's so amazing at what he does. Very easy to communicate with and goes out his way. The produce is so fresh and they carry all my needs in one place, verse I usually have to run everywhere to get all my goodies
I usually shop at another local store close to where I live. My sisters from all over the US had been searching for fresh artichokes. When we did find them, they were small and on average $2 each. I searched on my phone and found them here for .99 cents each! I called first and the produce person was very good about answering my questions. I traveled over 10 miles and was not disappointed. The artichokes were fresh and looked as he described them. I looked around and the produce department was beautifully freshly stocked of great quality goods! Prices were competitive with others too. The store was clean and well stocked. I would go back again for fruits and vegetables anytime. Butera was a pleasingly a very nice surprise for me. I shipped 8 of these to Tampa, Florida. Thanks for helping me with the Xmas gift Butera!
Loved the manager Jimmy! The store carries all the fresh produce. Im vegan and was intown for business and I will be back everytime im in town.
First time shopping here since I just moved into the neighborhood. It was clean. Some items priced right, some outrageous. The fruit all looked too ripe to buy. Like it would need to be eaten in the next few days. Peaches, strawberries and lettuce. Bought 2 t-bone steaks to grill and they were excellent. Fairly priced and very fresh. I will return but it won't be my #1 choice for groceries.
This store has some good sales, prices are better than most. Staff is either friendly or brooding depending on the individual. Definitely could be cleaned up better, especially the conveyor belts, and needs some updates.
For Italian variety, the best place to go: pasta/salad dressings/rice/MEAT many cuts cheaper/very good/jelly/breads and rolls/bakery there too. Many other things you can only find THERE. TOO highly priced half and half, cereal, cake mixes, yogurt, frozen food. My first stop before 3 other grocery stores.
Love the store & staff. Their butcher & selection of meats is the best quality and bigger cuts for way less than you pay at Jewel or Walmart. Their produce is a hit or miss. But, I mainly shop there for their meat. Meat lovers who love to cook at home or BBQ...this place is where you want to go!
I cannot begin to describe how much we love Butera Market! Whether it's the Meat, Deli, Produce, or Bakery dept. There is always something new to try. In our opinion what separates Butera from the rest is the selection of imported meats and Deli. Who would have thought you could have imported products for a domestic price, meaning inexpensive. The only little complaint I have is products run out quickly and it's daily. I guess that's a good thing considering product gets changed on a REGULAR basis. Overall Butera Market brought back what an old-time independent grocery store looked and felt like. I will go far as to say it reminded me of the old Jewel-Osco before Safeway took them over. That reminds me most items at Butera are ALWAYS on sale. For a long time Milk was $1.89 and Eggs were 50¢. In a nutshell Butera has items at half the cost of other competitors and the selection is what makes it worth it! Shop your local businesses.
Buteras prices have been getting very competitive. Produce is decent, Deli prices getting better. Meat is pretty good. Tenderloin was one of the best ever. so much that I returned to buy 3 more that were on sale. Service is hit or miss.
This is a great place to shop that's also on my commute from work. The sale prices can be very good and cashiers are very friendly. May not have add much stuff as a jewel but not nearly as crazy and not overpriced either.
