Bill Butler and his team of professionals were amazing taking care of our family during a very difficult time. He handled not only the arrangements but the coordination of picking up my father in law from the hospital quickly to persevere the body’s as we needed to post pone the wake for a week.. he made my mother in-law and wife feel so relieved that everything would be taken care of.

Thankfully, arrangements were made in advance. Bill Butler took care of getting Patricia home to Kings Park from Florida. All services were more than expected with professionalism, comfort and care. Patricia looked beautiful and would have been pleased. Bill, thank you to you and your staff for making a difficult time so much easier.
My husband's wake was held here in February 2016. We had four 2-hour sessions of viewing for friends and family. I was pleased with every aspect of the arrangements. First of all, Bill Butler is a gentleman. He was compassionate, sensitive yet always professional. By the end of the week I felt he had become a friend. I never felt rushed and Bill was very accommodating and giving of his time. He handled everything with the highest respect for my husband, my family and our friends. Bill Butler took care of donating the flowers to a local nursing home and took great care with my husband's photos and memorabilia. I felt like I was just borrowing a friend's house for this event. I was extremely happy with Bill Butler and the Butler-Hughes funeral home.
This is the third family funeral that we have held at the Butler-Hughes Funeral Home. Bill Butler does an incredible job with every aspect of the funeral. From assisting in the pre-planning for your loved one to the service. He makes you feel like family from the minute you walk through his door. He and his staff are professional and compassionate. They handle every aspect with grace and dignity. No detail is ever overlooked and he handles all your requests with courtesy. He is a credit to his profession. My family had an excellent experience with my father's funeral. We had preplanned with Bill and with just one phone call everything was being taken care of and we were in continuous communication. The staff were all great. It made the grieving process , service and calling hours as easy as it could be. I highly recommend them.
Very disrespectful people. The decedent's son is a catholic priest in another state who flew in, I mean this was his mother, these people just interfered at every turn and were very disrespect. We were trying to say the Rosary and they had issues with that. I guess because they weren't getting paid a cut. The son was scheduled to to the funeral and the funeral home director called the church and objected. Un-friggin-real. I not only would not use them but I beg of you to remember their name and location to tell your family and friends of this horrific experience.
