Wonderful coffee and bake shop!! Excellent croissant sandwiches, cookies and desserts. Start with the Berry Pancakes, perfect with a side of egg and your choice of protein. The walnut brownies are my favorite, goes well with coffee or tea. Elena is awesome, as is the rest of the crew which makes dining here that much more enjoyable!!
The food is great especially the s’more crumble but the experience and service was odd. The cashier got all the bakery items I wanted correct but didn’t seem to hear me say I wanted an omelette 3 times and the coffee they forgot to make. And in the 30 minutes here, two customers were demanding refunds for cakes they were promised but didn’t arrive and two more refunds for other foods being too frozen or other. The only male bathroom was taken up for 15 minutes by an employee who apparently was changing too. I would go again but with caution.
The deserts here are absolutely delicious. First of all, everything is fresh and absolutely gorgeous, it's hard to decide what to get, but the best part is that they are so reasonably priced, I have been to many bakeries but this one you have to try, I recommend the tres Leche and the lobster tail!
Very nice bakery in Manhasset. Clean and organized. Lines move so don't fret if you see one. There are so many things to look at but be sure you do! Fresh breads and pastries, cakes for all occasions and I am liking the drink menu. So many options! Looks to be a nice cafe seating area as well. I bought a chai latte, an oatmeal cookie and cake pops so good! And a funfetti cake for a birthday.
Visiting from Georgia with my mom. Hands down the best quiches we’ve ever enjoyed! The Lorraine and the Florentine! Friendly and attentive service! We love you Julie!! From the delicious lemony water to the napkins that are softer than you’d expect, Buttercooky is excelling on many fronts! The Peach supreme pastry was delectable! The quality of the pastry cream top notch! We’ll be back! Lord’s willing
Beautiful cakes but is a little pricey. Also staff is a bit forgetful and one time I cancelled an order and they forgot to refund my credit card so I had to go back in person to get the refund. The cafe is a hidden gem, the food is all really good and made from scratch. Terrific spot to go for lunch
CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST. Normally I only like to write positive reviews, but this time I couldn't keep myself from writing this review. I ordered 2 cakes for my daughter's 21st birthday one week apart. The first cake was supposed to be a red velvet cake but they had made it a strawberry shortcake. I did not make a complaint and let it go since it was for a private family celebration. The following week she was hosting a private party in Manhattan so I ordered her another cake. When I went to pick it up on the day of the party they brought out the cake that was smashed on the side with the writing that was super off centered on the top. The employee behind the counter took some pictures and my info to give to the owner since he had no idea how to deal with the problem at hand. I had no choice but to take the cake for the occasion. I waited a week and no phone call from them. I called and left the owner another reminder and no answer. I was in the area and decided to stop by and have a small conversation with him but he decided to be a no show by sending a message from the back that he was busy. I was not asking for much but a simple apology. I guess their customer service does not reflect the sweet cakes that they sale. Very disappointed.
Best croissants I've had outside Paris. If you want fancy versions, there's such a variety that it's hard to decide. The display cakes and pastries are an art gallery--and they serve meals too. I wish I lived closer.
My birthday cake forn30 people was never made after searching for half hr. No apology offered. Asked for a refund. 2 weeks later i have to follow up because it was not posted.
We ordered a cake for grandson's christening. The cake was beautiful and tasted great however my grandson's name was misspelled. When I picked up the cake the day of the event, it was already in the box. The writing was on the side so I couldn't fully see it. Since this was the 2nd cake I ordered in less than a year, I trusted it was perfect. It wasn't! When I called the bakery the next day to report the issue, I was told "you signed for it and should have checked before the cake was put in the box." When I told the manager the cake was already in the box when the clerk brought it out, he said, "Tough luck. It was still my fault for not thoroughly checking the writing was correct." The absolute worst customer service experience on the planet but I was willing to take the blame for their mistake. My husband would not let it go so he called the Floral Park store the next day to speak with the Manager. Turns out the Manager's Supervisor answered the phone. Christina apologized and agreed the situation was completely unacceptable. She couldnt have been nicer and even offered my husband a $20 gift certificate which was more than generous. We were not looking for a $150 refund for the cake. We weren't even looking for a gift certificate. We just wanted a kind apology which Christina delivered and then some. Here's the kicker - when my husband went to Floral Park today he was told Christina no longer works there and no one knows anything about a $20 gift certificate. When he explained the situation, he was again told it was completely our fault and we should have checked the writing BEFORE the cake was put in the box! You can't make this stuff up! Well, that was the icing on the cake which prompted me to write this review. Moral of the story - Don't take anyone's word for it. Always check the cake before signing for it and be sure to ask the snippy clerk to take the cake out of the box no matter how big or heavy it is. For me, I'll be finding a new bakery to take my business.
