Cannot recommend staying here enough. I had a great time staying at one of the river tent sites. Got settled in and immediately got to fishing the beaverkill only a few steps away. Very friendly owner who made me welcomed and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. I am looking forward to my next stay at the site. 10/10!Rooms: 5/5
Campsite would be tough for big 5th wheels but did see one successfully make it in and spend a few nights. The big winner here is the owner Paul. He was amazing throughout our entire stay, getting to know us and hang out with us. He even had a huge cookout on Saturday night and fed us around the campsite. Had a great stay there last week! Thanks again Paul!
A beautiful place, the river was great to tie off our tubes and relax for the day, The owners Bridget & Paul were so welcoming, our kids loved playing with their kids and feeding Gaston! After a long day it’s great to sleep listening to the River. Want to get away from it all this is a place to visit!! We’ll be back!!
I came here in June for the first time and never went to any other campsite again. I’ve been treated like family and evenings by the bonfire are just exceptional. Anything you need to unite with the nature and great people is at Butternut Grove!
I must say this place was not only relaxing but everyone was so frendly. The owners Bridget and Paul where just wonderful and so welcoming. Our dogs and the stay was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for a great time!! Will sure come again.
Had an amazing time camping out here in Roscoe last month! When we arrived we were greeted by Paul who checked us in and provided us with some fishing tips for the River nearby. We camped out in tents and had a blast at this site. Unfortunately, our second day came to an abrupt end as we had forgotten to rain fly out tents and got our tents caught in the rain while out in town. Paul was super attentive and tried to help out as much as possible, he even offered us to use his own equipment to stay the night! He went above and beyond, checking in on us while we were packing up. Highly recommend staying at this campsite! Thank you Paul!
Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. Top tip: if you have a tent call ahead for plot 65! Great little store on site for everything you've probably forgotten to bring. Restrooms: The best restroom and showers I've ever seen at a campground. The owners clearly care.
Just got here and the atmosphere is amazing! The owner Paul is the man!! Took time to help me out with my fire offered anything I needed. Bring your family here because to them you are family!
Absolute blast! Thank you Paul and Bridget for being perfect hosts. Highly recommend this lovely place. See you guys very soon!
I Highly recommend _ my family and I had a relaxing short trip. The camp is a family operated , family oriented campground . Close to the river, convenient store in the location, a welcoming environment.
