Going out of business sales started today and there were only TWO employees covering the entire store and they did phenomenal. I was not expecting much considering these people will potentially be out of jobs here shortly, but they were fantastic at managing the phone that was ringing off the hook, the crowd that was gathering to ask questions and find products, and the people checking out. 10/10
We bought a crib and when we opened the box the crib was damaged. We took it to the store to exchange it and the lady told me since the box was opened they couldn’t exchange it that I need it to call the seller. Which it didn’t make sense because we bought it there. They should be responsible for exchanging the crib. How am I going to know that the crib is damaged if I don’t open the box? And it was only 4 days since we bought it and they did not want to exchange it. Bad customer service. Don’t recommend going to that store. If you buy something that is damaged they will note change it
We tried to return a chip crib and the store told us that they won’t do a refund on a open box they told us to call manufacturer but we have been trying 2 weeks and they don’t answer the phone. This store sucks they are helpless I won’t go to this store again and I don’t recommend it either because they don’t follow their return policy’s.
I brought a diaper bag on their website, when I arrived at the store, I asked for a gift receipt. The lady at the front told me she couldn't give me one because I did store pick up. I am at your store and bought the item from your store website and it totally doesn't make any sense that you can't print a copy of the receipt or a gift receipt for my purchase. She told me that she will need to do a refund to the bag and repurchase the bag. When I agreed to do it, she said she will ask for the manager. When the manager came over, I asked why I couldn't just get a gift receipt. She couldn't give me any good reason.
I came in to pick up a couple of things for my son, there was 2 employees talking to each other. I waited for them to stop and I asked one of them where something was located she pointed to a wall and told me to look for them myself and then continued her conversation with the other employee. I also ordered something for pickup was told it would be ready within an hour, after almost 3 hours I called them to check up since I was in the area the lady who answered the phone said “yea we cannot have your order ready as we are short staffed” and proceeded to hang up. The store is also really dirty and not in good conditions strollers all over the place empty shelfs and no organization whatsoever to top of rude customer service it’s way different as to what I remember it being like a couple years ago.
Buy Buy Baby is nice there have some really cute clothes for babies. They keep their store clean and the staff is really helpful. We went here yesterday to look at car seats for our twins. The staff really gave us a lot of information about certain seats and even alternative options for us to consider as well. The only downside is that can be a bit pricey; I do not see why a pair of size 3 baby shoes should cost $35.00. My thoughts is that it helps to see some things in person such as car seats but it does not mean that you can't look and still price match with other stores or even online.
Feeding/nursing room is awesome! I was looking for a place to pump between multiple appointments in the day. Buybuy Baby has a room just for this need! It is clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet.
Part of the bed bath and beyond company which isn’t doing well but I like buy buy a lot. Great selection and great pricing as well. Definitely competitive with Amazon prices. Lets keep these brick and mortar stores open so we don’t have to do all our shopping online. Its much easier to see and try out everything in person. I say Buy Buy is a Buy Buy for me and my baby!!
Do not buy from them. Very deceiving and expensive. I bought a crib and a dresser with a topper, paid an extra $150 to have the furniture assembled. It’s been two months still waiting for the products, no update from anyone. I called and they said I paid $150 to assemble only the dresser and not the crib. To assemble the crib it would be an extra $65 dollars which was not what I was informed at the time of purchase. The manager does not help at all. I do not recommend this store to anyone. I am pregnant and by myself and have to assemble a crib alone after paying $150 dollars for delivery and assembly. Extremely deceiving.
We drove 120 miles to come to the store only to find it “closed until further notice” due to burst pipes. Sorry for them. A notice on their website would have been helpful. Won’t be back.
