It is mission of the Byron Fire Department to prevent the loss of life and to control or reduce the loss of property by applying all of our professional knowledge and resources. The department does this through fire suppression, rescue, code enforcement, public education, fire investigation, and professional development training. As first responders to fires, public safety and medical emergencies and weather related disasters, our fire department protects the lives and property of the Town of Byron residents and visitors.
