I have been to this shop a couple of times now and the owner is an incredibly nice and very knowledgeable man. The negative reviews are uncalled for. He went out of his way to help me and answered all of my questions with sincerity. Thank you for what you do. I highly recommend this shop.
I had a great experience with this shop. I ordered sandals online and the owner personally delivered the at no charge same afternoon. I realized when I tried them on at home that I ordered the wrong size. I called the next afternoon and no questions asked he delivered the replacement pair for an exchange. They fit perfectly and I couldn't be happier with them. Will def recommend to family and friends.
Just don't go here. I called about an exchange/refund for a pair of shoes my husband gave me and when I pressed him on his return policy, the owner hung up on me. Man. I hate being hung up on - so rude and childish. Now he won't answer when I call from my phone. Again, childish. Leave this guy to himself and buy your shoes somewhere else. ***In response to the owners response: the shoes were bought the week before Christmas and given to me Christmas day. Closer to 2 months by my math, over a month of which was full lockdown in Ottawa, essential errands only. Meanwhile I am homeschooling my kids, working from home etc... I admit I could have called sooner although I did email two weeks ago and never heard back, but I thought we'd have a laugh about COVID craziness and discuss the options. Instead: no. Then when I say "but we've been in lockdown, etc." he hangs up. That's how business is done there. Fair warning to all.
The worst Birkenstock retailer ever. Do everything to avoid purchasing at this store. Went to buy today, expected that would be competitive. Was told to f-off because I was using my phone to price compare. He didn't like that. Updated after owners response! The guys is a liar. He was selling a pair in another colour for $120 dollars, I asked for a black pair for $120, he countered back at full retail of $180 dollars. I showed him other Birkies at other stores ranging from $115 to $165. I asked him to price match pair in store and if not then next lowest price on the web, including Amazon. He then showed me his is a Amazon retailer and his Amazon prices were lower than what he was offering me.. BTW, I purchased my last pair of Birkies at this store at a great discount. He then got very aggressive yelling and swearing repeatedly. In the heat of his rage he said "... I'm not going sell Birkenstocks that I pay $80.00 for for $120.00. Yet he had a pair on sale of $120 and many other discounted shoes. I'm pretty sure he is selling "grey market" products now. I'd stay away, if I were you. Worst retail experience ever. MEC selling same Birkie for $119.00, so how is the customer wrong?
Good guy who has been selling in the Market for decades, and from whom I’ve bought Birkenstocks for almost as long. Great selection and very helpful.
Idiot owner phoned asked for an item in my size. Guy checks says he has it i show up and he’s like sorry i don’t have it
The owner is mad without reason .
