Location is perfect. Food is good. Service is not good at all. The waiters just pretend to do their job paying no attention to customers’ polite requests… and at the end of the day they are waiting for generous tips… In general I would rate it 3.8 out of 5 because of the service but there is no such an option
Ambiance was nice, friendly and has a French look. Escargots were good, cheese platter good but too much butter not enough parsley and garlic, bread was a bit stale.. average. The bouillabaisse was super oily, lacked the garlicky crouton with the rouille. There was no pastis nor Pernod as apperitif on the menu drink. Steak was flavorful, shrimp scampi again, lacked garlic. Highlight: fish, seafood was cooked just right and owner staff were very nice.
Let me start by saying C'est LA Vie is awesome I don't even really eat bread and I had to get seconds of the fresh bread they bring to you. It is absolutely amazing the food was wonderful. The view is absolutely gorgeous and you can never go wrong with a spot like this.Food: 5/5
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Laguna Beach. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience...I was so spoiled and felt like a Queen. The food is absolutely amazing – everything I tasted melted in my mouth so beautifully. It was absolutely the best experience I've ever had. Highly recommend!
Best French onion soup in Laguna. One of the greatest views in all of OC. All the coffee cocktails you can think of. All the different kinds of Mimosas. Love this place for Sunday brunch with friends.
Great location and good indoor and outdoor seating. Waiter was good about splitting the bill for a larger group. Good pastries and coffee is fine as long as you are good with $5 coffee and a $9 cappuccino.Recommended dishesBakery
Stopped by this place because it looked cute and seemed authentic, and that was our mistake. This place is EXTREMELY over priced for terrible quality food. Everything was served in plastic ware and our sandwiches were extremely dry and disgusting. We spent $80 bucks on two sandwiches, 2 gross pastries, and 2 affogatos. Also not to mention that the workers took their sweet time before they took our order and ignored us for the first like 10 minutes. Do not recommend
This restaurant is situated in a beautiful waterfront location, but it falls short of being a true French restaurant despite its claims. During our brunch visit, I requested a breakfast without any pork or bacon but was disappointed to find a bacon piece mixed with the potatoes, as seen in the uploaded picture. I brought this to the attention of our waiter but felt disheartened by the restaurant's carelessness in ensuring that my dietary restrictions were not met. This lack of attention to detail casts doubt on the quality of the entire dining experience. Parking: parking is hard to find around here.
Had the salmon salad with egg, cucumber, greens. Salmon was well done per my request. Great balcony view seat over looking beach.Food: 4/5
Not only is this place soooo so cute, it’s yummy to. Thank you Justin for making our time there extra special with the best service. The cronuts are the best I’ve ever had- but 4 get one free. The breakfast special includes a free mimosa. I had the spinach Florentine and it was delicious
