Staying at ad2 stopped in for some food. I ordered a burger which was good. Turkey club was good as well. Drinks were poured right. Our server she mentioned she was new only her 2nd day and she was working by herself that night. She did great. Overall it's a place to grab some food when hungry nothing else. Menu could be better also.Food: 4/5
The food is great. I ordered fried dill pickles. We stayed in Ariel dunes which the restaurant is on the first floor. While there, I ordered take out, and we ate inside. The take out was good, but when we sat inside, it was ok. Although there wasn’t many people in there our waitress took forever getting our order. The food is really good, but plan on paying a hefty price.
Tourist mistake. We blew it with this one. Feels like a restaurant that was popping in the 90’s and they are barely hanging on due to proximity for Ariel Dunes guests and being close to the beach. Dirty, unorganized, unwelcoming. I’ve never been to a restaurant where we both hated our food and didn’t finish it. Plus it was $60+ for two people who ordered water only. Don’t fall for this one. 2nd time here and we love it. Great food and atmosphere. Live band also.
Got green fried tomatoes, the fish platter and a bucket, everything was great. Server was pretty good, I'd say she did her/his job at a above par level. The restaurant was kinda dead other than a few drinks having a good time at the bar but all in all it was niceFood: 5/5
Came in last night to celebrate a special birthday and we were in search of a fun atmosphere with music. Let’s just say we will NOT be back to the Cabana Cafe. The lack of customer service and respect was mind blowing. We thought we were being treated badly by a server, which is still unacceptable. Well, come to find out she was the MANAGER ON DUTY. I cannot believe anyone would have such poor staffing. Brandy was awful. A very hateful human. It’s such a shame. Do NOT recommend this spot. Spend your money somewhere else. Do better, Cabana Cafe.
We decided to try this place since we were staying at Ariel Dunes and it was right downstairs. When we walked in, we noticed the restaurant was pretty dirty. Tables had not yet been turned even though it was very slow - we were one of about 5 tables sat and the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept for a few days. Mind you, we got there at around 11:45 and they opened at 11:00. We ordered a small pizza, a cheese curd appetizer, and a fried pickle appetizer. We ordered at 12:15 and didn’t get the food until 1:15. Again, not busy at all so don’t quite understand the wait time. The server was friendly. We ordered a speciality pizza Buffalo chicken but with half of it cheese only for our kids. We were charged the full price of the speciality pizza and an up charge for cheese only on one half. Doesn’t make sense to me. The food came from a frozen bag we saw it but the pizza seemed to be made fresh. The crust was soggy and hard to pickup to eat. Overall not a good experience and are not likely to dine here again. There seems to be an identity crisis at the restaurant - ceilings that look like they are covered in dust but painted, remnants where a wall was taken out, dirty restaurant, and a disorganized hostess stand right when you walk in. The food was pricey too - $42 for 2 appetizers and a 10 inch pizza. Robert Irvine would have a field day with this one.
Food was less then average. Our appetizer went to the wrong table and we were not told about it till we asked. Our waitress was sent home for fighting with the cook in the middle of service. The manager took over an when we recieved our bill it had drinks on it we didnt order. As convenient as it is to the condos we will not go back.Food: 2/5
TOURIST TRAP I consider myself a professional drinker. First day probably spent $150 Tito and redbull at 50% tip 8 drinksNext day each drink cost more each time. 9 drinks went from $7 to $9 CRAZY. For some reason I tracked what I paid NEVER DO That. Forget happy hour this is a local bar in which I paid for errrrrrr ones shots. My wife is a bartender and would never over charge to make a couple bucks. Today I went and bought a liter and made my own drinks. Do what you want but if I was treated equal a bartender would have made an extra $100
Not impressed. Ate here twice, and the first time was not as bad. Second time was horrible. Both times the music is so loud you can barely order, and makes dinner not very enjoyable. Would be a great place to just party and drink.Food: 1/5
