Loved the atmosphere. Walked in on a busy Friday evening. Was seated right away. Many options to choose from. My wife and I loved the food. Great customer service, the waitress was very attentive. Had the Sushi sampler and General TSO Chicken. Not sure what my wife ordered but it was Goood! Highly recommended and will definitely return.
It’s a nice spot for a late dinner. I like the variety of Asian Fusion items on the menu. We ordered one of the fried rice and Galbi. Both were pretty good. Only thing I didn’t really like was the loud club music playing but besides that, it was great.Food: 5/5
Cafe 101 is a nice place to come to with friends when feeling hungry late at night. They have decent food and good drinks. Staff is friendly for the most part. It is a bit loud, but I can still hear my friends over the noise so I’m fine with it. I get the same dish every time which is the fried Japanese curry pork chop. I always finish it as it’s pretty tasty. Service is very fast as well. A good Chinatown spot after hours.
A wonderful Asian fusion restaurant well worth visiting, with a vast selection of cuisine from eastern Asia. For my first visit, I had the spicy stir-fried 101 Beef Steak with Chicken Fried Rice, shared in some Gyoza, Chinese style Omelette, and Cheese Crab Puffs. Others in the family enjoyed Sushi, Beef Fried Udon, Singapore Rice Noodles, Beef Chow Fun, and so on. All of it was delicious and satisfying. Very clean venue with trendy décor and friendly serving staff, and they are open very late until 2 AM so it would be a perfect place to grab some late night eats. No downsides to our visit, busy but not overcrowded. Highly recommended.
The food is above average but not great, service is good. Price is reasonable!Food: 4/5
I have been here 2 times with my boyfriend for date nights in the midnight because this was the only restaurant open in the midnight. We really enjoyed the food and service here. Special fried rice, sushi, sashimi and kimchi soup are really delicious even they take a long time but no problem to us. The only thing I don’t like is the music is too loud like in a bar club should be replaced with soft music. A good place for a date night !!
cool music. nice vibe at night, i love that it’s open late. i came after the don toliver concert. kimchi fries are fire. my critique is that there wasn’t enough kimchi or beef. the flavor was there though. sesame chicken and gyoza are good. i got their honey ginger tea too they give a good amount for the price $7.50.Food: 4/5
The food was so good and the serving portions were very reasonable for the prices. The Hot pots were delicious and if you like boba, try one of their bubble drinks! Their restaurant hours are also great because they open around brunch time 11:30am and close late 2:00am. I do plan on going back when I’m in the area again :
Extensive menu with so many drinks and a variety of food! The entrees came as sets with side dishes peanuts and pickled veggies, white rice, and dessert. The jumbo shrimp in special sauce and sizzling beef plate were delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the speed the food was served at as well as the portions. I’ll have to make multiple visits just to try other items on the menu. The cafe itself is really cute inside and just on the outside of Dun Huang Plaza.
Note for the management and staff/personnel responsible for purchasing and plating food: NEVER EVER SERVE FOOD ON A BROKEN OR CRACKED PLATE. This is simply not acceptable especially for any restaurant let alone one in such a prime location! In all my years of dining at restaurants from hole-in-the-wall spots to more higher end spots have I ever been served on a cracked plate. To the chef/representative plating the food: you can clearly see the ridiculously large crack on the plate and somehow still chose to serve food on there. The lights are dimmed for diners in the seating area, and hopefully not where the food is plated. You may not see it as a big deal but you can’t tell if small pieces from the cracked area enter the food being served on it. It’s a health hazard and again ridiculous from a restaurant of your caliber. The icing on the cake was the fact that when I informed the waiting staff, they started to giggle as if something humorous had just taken place. If serving food on cracked plates is your cup of humor, then consider switching to paper plates. That representative did eventually apologize but only after I told them there’s nothing to laugh about in this situation. We spent $100 but I would be just as upset had I spent $5 because serving food on a cracked plate is ridiculous. Came in for a table of 3 and were seated promptly after arriving. The staff member when we first walked in was very courteous and helpful, and just about the only positive impact Cafe 101 left on me.
