A little bit of home town old school hippie heaven lives on in the warm vibe of Cafe Carpe. A folk music performance venue that is on every aspiring singer songwriter's "must play" list. Best kept secret in the area! My wife and I have been here many times. The food is good and the music venue is the best. Small listening area for up to 50 people. Great local and national acts. Listening to the music is like having a personal concert in your living room.

Great meal before a concert in the listening room. Loved the Reuben, bean soup and the ice cream sandwich. The music was fantastic- they did a nice round where each artist/group rotated doing songs.

Hippie fairies sparkled magic dust all over this place. Food is amazing and greens are locally grown. Staff is great. Screened porch right over the river next to a garden. Live music, but in an intimate setting. Added to the favorites list

The Carpe will always will be one of my favorite spots to enjoy great company, food, and music. Never hesitate to go when given the opportunity.

Cafe Carpe has a fine live music intimate listening room with great food and friendly hospitality provided by owners Kitty & Bill Camplin. Bill has one of the finestest voices and performs occasionally at Cafe Carpe Wisconsin ever produced---proficient enough to achieve a performance with Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Cafe Carpe supports singer song writer music second to none and attracts listeners keen in hearing music in an environment paying attention to details.
