We had our wedding lunch there -- just a small wedding, so there were only 14 of us -- and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were really accommodating and helpful, the food was lovely, the drinks were brilliant, and the price was reasonable. Couldn't have chosen a better location. Would recommend every time. Vegetarian options: Plenty of pescatarian and vegetarian options, plus a vegan menu as well.

Food was brilliant. Cocktail looked amazing The staff are very attentive, caring and focused on the little details. Lucy was brilliant over heard it was my birthday and got me a little surprise. Will come back. Service and how they treat you is wonderful

Came here with a big group. The menu is eclectic, so there’s something for everyone. We got wine for the table and I ordered the salad pictured. The food was good, and they sat us in a more private area.

It’s not often that I’m blown away by a restaurant and the food. Rock & Rose did that. Great welcome by Kyle. Excellent attentive service from Jonno who took our orders. Now to the food. The seared scallops were outstanding in terms of quality and lemon thyme butter sauce to die for. The lamb shank massaman was outstanding not to mention tender as hell and plentiful. The malasian spices and peanut sauce was something else and the jasmine flavoured rice complemented it perfectly. As for the other dishes of my fellow diners they both were as blown away as myself. Decor was unique and with the plants created a lovely ambience. A long drive from Reading, Berkshire but worth it. Delicious meal followed up by a walk around Kew Gardens. A memorable day and experience.

We had such a great time at Rock&Rose the cocktails are so well presented and taste great, the food is incredible and a dessert platter?! Brilliant idea! Staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly. The chairs were like armchairs and super comfy. We would definitely come back.

I loved the decor, it was a modern safari theme that was quite relaxing. We booked the private dining room. It’s open on both ends with you almost sat next to tables outside. There was also another party on a table next to us in the private dining room. If you’re looking to let loose with your party, I’m afraid it’s more dining room than private. Staff were extremely helpful but service was a little on the slow side as we had to wait for someone to passquite difficult due to the positioning of the private dining room. Overall the food was delicious, the cocktails were to die for and it’s an experience everyone should have at least once.

Haven’t posted for a while but can thoroughly recommend this lovely restaurant . From the eloquent decor , to the excellent service and the delicious food . The best restaurant I have been to for a long time . Discovered it as 15 minutes walk away from Kew Gardens where we went afterwards to the light show

Lazy manager. Brilliant cocktails. Saw via reviews they had the "best cocktails in Richmond". #BallsDeepExcitement We were going for dinner in Twickenham for my better half's birthday so booked a table for 2. We arrived; got told off by the arrogant manager for booking a table. Why? Apparently bookings are only for dinner - not just for drinks - we would have "neglected a table for 2" from sampling their godly menu. Noone else came in after us btw. Not to mention their website says nothing about exclusively booking for dinner. Worth going for the drinks .. but follow the rules or you'll leave with a fake smile goodbye from the manager.

We have been to the Rock and Rose a few times before.It had been some time since we had previously been and today we went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were impressed by the internal decor and ambience. There were plenty of leafy plants above our heads - creating the impression of eating in an exotic jungle. The menu had changed slightly but the food was delicious and well portioned. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and the service was fast and efficient. I made the point of telling the lady who checked us in that it was my wife’s birthday and she assured me that they would do something to surprise my wife and acknowledge her birthday. We watched people around us getting a ‘birthday surprise’ and I was expectant that something would happen. The desserts came and still nothing had happened. I even told the waitress that we had a great meal, celebrating my wife’s birthday. The bill came and still no birthday acknowledgment. As we walked out I mentioned to the lady that had checked us in that although everything else was really good - my wife’s birthday had been forgotten . She listened to me but said nothing and walked away to show customers to their seats. We were disappointed. It put a slight downer on the evening and would have earned Rock and Rose 5 rather than 4 stars.
