Nice little cafe/bar. I could see myself sitting here sipping on excellent coffees all day and then ending with a drink while watching a game! A bit larger than their previous location but still great food. Hubby had a triple shot latte followed by the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, daughter had the Caprese Sandwich and the Mocha Latte and I had the Corned Beef Hash with poached eggs and a Hot Cider! All were well prepared, flavorful and filling! We will DEFINITELY return! Free parking close by and down a level but we just walked over after church. It is handicapped accessible but the tables are close together so it might be an issue. The staff is super helpful though so I'm sure they would have no problems moving tables around if needed. Outdoor seating is very limited but well maintained. Over all a very nice place that I can't wait to return to.
Nice brunch & coffee at this welcoming internet cafe. Free public parking is nearby & down 1 level. The breakfast sandwich is served on a fresh, flaky croissant. The Reuben sandwich is delicious. Try the marble loaf if you need a sweet treat!
Super cute cafe with wonderful staff, great food, amazing coffee, and an incredible ambiance. I came here one morning in July after hearing a series of rave reviews from my friends and it really did not disappoint in the slightest. I had their breakfast sandwich with an egg omelette, spinach, mushrooms, and goat cheese, and it went perfectly with their multigrain roll. It looked absolutely adorable on the wooden plate, and it was delightful with their latte and beautiful latte art. Everything was warm, the perfect size for my appetite, and came out relatively quickly. The service was also super friendly and efficient. Both the cashier and server were SO sweet, and I really appreciated their genuine smiles, humor, and wit. Our drinks and food came out far faster than I was expecting, despite how busy and crowded the cafe was. Beyond the wonderful service and incredible food and drink, I also absolutely loved the way they decorated the cafe. The lighting was a bit dim, and the dark green walls, rustic lighting, and combination of normal wooden tables and high tops made the whole place feel homey, but still put-together. It's a wonderful spot for studying/work, a relaxed weekend breakfast or brunch, or a coffee date!
Went to cafe kindred for breakfast and I ended up getting breakfast and lunch! The tuna melt was amazing along with the scrambled veggies! Coffee was great! Highly recommend checkin this spot out as it’s a cool atmosphere with good eats!
I’ve been coming here with my boyfriend every time we have a chance. The food is always good and so is the service. Their flat white is probably my favorite coffee drink and the Reuben sandwich is amazing. I usually get the English breakfast but have tried other entrees. Never disappointed. I also appreciate paying up front so that we can leave once we are done eating. Tried to remember to take pictures for this review but immediately started eating.. which is a good thing.
Everyone at Cafe Kindred is always so nice! The atmosphere is also great. They are constantly updating and refreshing the look and feel of the place, but it is always warm and inviting. There is a good variety of breakfast and lunch items. I particularly like the chicken salad sandwich. This place should definitely be on your rotation of places to eat in the Falls Church/Arlington area!
Cafe Kindred was a wonderful place for my sister and I to grab brunch. I ordered the corn beef hash and blueberry muffin. The flavor was fantastic and it really hit the spot. I have not had food like that in awhile so i was happy with my experience. Also the customer service was perfect and incredidibly nice. Vibes were really good!!
I was not having a good day but decided to stop in, and my day was instantly made. Service was fast and customer service was great! This cafe has a very cozy and eclectic vibe going on and I love it! I got the chai latte and turkey avocado BLT and they did not disappoint! My new favorite cafe!!!
I come here every Friday morning after my workout to have one of their beautiful espresso drinks or even the house coffee. It’s all deliciously smooth and well made. Everything is presented beautifully, too, which adds to the experience. To top it all off, the staff is super personable and nice. Great way to start my day, please visit Café Kindred ! You’re in for a treat
Took the advice of another reviewer and tried the flat white. It was exceptional, very smooth and energizing. Also some of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had the pleasure of sampling. Seriously. Amazing breakfast spot, I bet it's crazy busy on the weekends. I was lucky to go around 11am on a Wednesday. Fantastic.
