We went to Pizzeria Mimosa for a family birthday celebration and the food was great and delicious! Hostess and Server were friendly. We got the calamari and the kids even loved it. We also got 3 different pizzas and all were great. Pepperoni, Emelia and the Eliseo. The burger was a good size and flavorful. We got the cannolis to go and it was yummy. Not too sweet, lemony flavor and good texture on the pastry. We will back!
The nicest restaurant in Cochise County. Though not as good as the Italian options you may find in bigger cities, the food here does hold its own. I was impressed by the staff, both front and back of house. I tried a specialty seasonal item and asked a question about it. The head chef came and explained where they sourced the ingredients and displayed a clear passion for food. The food is great. Many solid options and others I went with were consistently impressed as well. I appreciated the specials and the variety of the menu. Service was fairly quick even when the restaurant was busy. Very beautiful space as well!
Went for a nice dinner out. Bread was good but the oil should be served on a shallow plate so you can get to the seasonings and not saturate your bread with just oil. Portabellos fritti appetizer and citrus vinaigrette salad were both great. Entree was delicious I had the filetto. Torta di Nutella cheesecake was superb. Cannoli were good but I've had better. Macarons were so so. Overall, the food was great. Steaks were a bit over peppered but tasty otherwise. The huge disappointment was the service. The waiter was very friendly...when he was around. Our whole visit was almost two hours. Much of it was waiting. Waiting for our drink order, waiting to give our food order, waiting on multiple occasions for drink refills after asking multiple times, waiting on desserts. My husband's medium rare steak came out half raw. Not exaggerating either. Even the waiter was like oh wow, I've never seen one come out that raw. After they put it back on the grill, he enjoyed it. Husband ordered panna cotta, but they didn't have the berries for it. Then he wanted the chocolate cake with berry sauce, but no berries for it. For such an esteemed restaurant, we definitely expected better.
Before the pandemic, this place was bland and expensive. After the pandemic, it's like they REALLY stepped up their game. The food is phenomenal every time we go. They are still expensive but the food is worth the price now. The views of the mountains from the back patio and the window seating are wonderful. The interior has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are very friendly. *Sometimes* service is a bit slow because they, like many other places, have staffing shortages. If you are a fast drinker like I am, I suggest requesting two drinks.
We’ve come to pizzeria mimosa twice now and both times were really awesome experiences. The food is great, fairly priced for what you get and staff is friendly! Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids! Parking: Fully loaded parking lot, easy access! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!
I went on a Monday afternoon, so it wasn’t too busy. Our waitress was attentive and our food was delicious. The pizza crust is fantastic. The rice balls were not my favorite, but I think it’s a matter of personal taste.
Food was delicious, although on the expensive side. I had a salad with artichoke hearts and some deli meats. It was flavorful. I had the tiramisu for dessert, and that was the highlight of my experience. My water needed refilling, and the waitress never brought us more bread. A great date night spot, but be prepared to spend some money. Great view of the mountains.
Food was very good. Probably the best food I've had in Sierra Vista. Fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Chicken Parm was like getting it from back east... It was exactly like it should be. Drinks were made perfectly. Dessert was fun.
First time at this restaurant. Great ambiance, super friendly staff, and fantastic food & drink options! There's plenty of gifts to choose from in the little gift shop right at the entrance of the restaurant. Wines, food, decirative dish towels, Italian candy, and more! We will definitely be back very soon...Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
62 dollars for two large pizzas that are the same size as my hand definitely not worth it such a huge rip off I also got three orders of cannolis but still if this is a large wow!!! Definitely will NOT be going back such a rip off! Since I can’t add another review we will continue from here. Yesterday when I called and talked to Eric about the service we received he apologized and said there will be a gift card waiting for the same day or next day for pick up. I went today well the next day and the only way I could get the gift card was to remove the post about the terrible service. I didn’t k ow a business would resort to blackmail to get a bad review off. Iam sorry that you can’t handle the opinion of your customers but to think that you are a business that holds yourself to such high standard you would resort to blackmail. Needless to say they are truly a rip off and don’t care about their patrons and not a business of their word.
