This place was absolutely wonderful. The staff were knowledgeable and personable. Management ascertained satisfaction throughout the experience, and the food was delicious. I believe there are various offerings that are reasonably priced for all types of spenders. I highly recommend the is restaurant to others!Food: 5/5
Treated my boyfriend for his birthday... he LOVED everything from walking in the restaurant to walking out! The hostesses were welcoming and kind, our waiters Peter & Walter were very funny and gave great service, boyfriend's steak was perfect, the asparagus was just right, my dish was tasty, the dessert was to die for!!! I think I'm a lovely lady but I can't tell you how many times I was told that I was beautiful! The staff here was absolutely amazing, treated us like royalty.
Hands down the best dining experience in Dallas! From walking through the front door to walking out, we were treated like royalty. The steak you could cut with a fork, and it melted in your mouth. I got the braised short rib, which is beef, not pork pulled apart with ease and was heaven in my mouth! All of our food was created with love and care you can taste the love. We will definitely be back and are so happy we found this fine jewel in this sea of bitter waters. It's an experience... This is how the other half lives. It's their spot. If you want GREAT food go elsewhere. If you want an old money Chicago experience in Dallas... Cafe Pacific; GOOD food, great atmosphere, pampering staff, and beautiful cut glass!Food: 3/5
A culinary staple. If it comes from the kitchen at Café Pacific, it will satisfy your taste. I’ve been coming here dozens of times over the years for various occasions and will say I have never had a disappointing meal in all that time. The price is appropriate for the quality. The ingredients are fresh and experience of the staff is what you can expect from a truly fine dining experience. The restaurant is embodied well by their timeless classics: pepper steak entree, and pecan ball for desert. These have been on the menu since they opened their doors and will surely stay until the end of time. If you don’t eat red meat I encourage you towards the sea bass. The seasonal menus are always thoughtful and executed to perfection. If there are any mistakes, they are extremely few and far between, and never without quick resolution. The maître d’ is exceptionally well trained and runs a tight ship. I look forward to dining here again.
Classic fine dining in Highland Park Village. We hadn't been for years and only came back when Honor Bar had an hour wait. Thankful they seated us right away even though they, too, were unusually busy for mid-Saturday afternoon. Perfect old school service, amazing food, just the right pace for enjoying some down time. Pricey, but worth the splurge occasionally.

……. CRITIC’S REVIEW …… The best of the best!! Fabulous food meets fabulous decor for a great experience!! A hidden jem. This is an old school white tablecloth restaurant with valet parking, a canopy covered entrance, expert staff and of course a dress code - dress to impress! This is the kind of place you only see in movies. This is a ‘fine dining experience’ - no rushing about to turn the table in 30 minutes. People not familiar with this kind of experience may say the service is slow if you are not checked on every 5 minutes! If you don’t have a sophisticated palet, you will miss the best parts of each dish. Extremely upscale and worth every penny! No advertising, you either know about or you don’t. It really doesn’t matter what you eat, everything is delicious and beautifully plated. Beyond perfect for any special occasion. Make reservations if you want to get a table. You never know when it’s going to be packed… lunch or dinner. My Favorites: To describe each of these adequately, I would be writing an essay on each and go beyond the character limits for a review. I’ll list them here, just trust me… they are each to die for awesome! - New England Clam Chowder - Caesar Salad - Maryland Style Crab Cake - Three Onion Crusted Seabass - Steaks are good too - And #1, Sterling Lamb Rib Chops!!!! LUNCH ONLY - Several of the lunch salads - Classic Lobster Roll Overall Score: 10 out of 10 Everything is done right. Enjoy.
Service was excellent. We had an issue with our food and Eddie and the manager took care of us. New York prime was decadent. The truffle butter on top was delicious. Finished with ice cream covered in chocolate sauce and pecans. Also delicious.
My group received fantastic and knowledgeable service From Harris. All of the crab dishes were super fresh and delicious. Cafe Pacific was a great place to celebrate my 30th birthday.
