Cafe' Reuben

This place is hard to find and once you found it it's hard to leave and find your way out of it. My friend had the German omelette that had sauerkraut in it! He liked it! I had sausage eggs and a pecan pancakes. The pancake was awesome. It was slightly chewy, taste it slightly like wheat, was very light and spongy! Really good. The eggs were almost cooked all the way through on the whites, the sausage was dry. The coffee was, well I didn't want to take it with me. The decor is really awesome and quaint. The owner is pleasant.

The food is to die for! The southwestern omelette was our favorite. The owner came and talked to us at our table and there was live music. The atmosphere is definitely small town cafe, nothing g fancy but very cozy and friendly. The service was excellent. We will be going back very soon!

Great food, great service!! I especially loved that the cook came around himself to visit with patrons I think he may be the owner?. The fresh baked bread was amazing, I have never seen my 5 yr old so excited about toast before!! All of the staff was friendly and accommodating!!

Such a wonderful breakfast. The owner mentioned a bratwurst and sauerkraut omlette he was trying out, so I gave it a shot. Wow, so good! And the pecan pancakes were just amazing. If I lived here I would never eat breakfast anywhere else.

I can't say enough good about this place! Such wonderful staff. Amazing food! After my love and I were done eating, the owner Steve came up to us to ask how everything was and what are plans for the rest of the day were. Check this place out! We need more places like this! If I could give more stars, I would! Thank you to Steve and his wonderful staff. We will definitely be back!

Reuben is great and all of the breakfast items were great. I got the Pecan Pancakes and they were delicious. I've never had Pecan Pancakes and that was a great first experience. I would recommend visiting his restaurant if you are in the area and you are looking for a delicious and super filling breakfast. Reuben is a very funny guy and made our table laugh several times which was a treat. Thank you for your hospitality Reuben, we will be back next time we are in this part of the country!

A friendly atmosphere with good home-made meals! Every time we go in, Steve the chef always comes out to personally check in on us and see what we think. Love going to Rubens!

I ordered the namesake sandwich, very good. It has a unique flavor. The macaroni salad is also a bit different than any I've had before, but very good as well. A nice little diner.

Super delicious Reuben sandwiches, and the breakfasts are amazing! Several times throughout the year they have special dinners, like Valentines Day or St. Patricks Day, etc, and I truly mean special. The owners are really friendly and they know how to run a restaurant! They've been doing it for over 30 years! This place is old school interior design with a counter to sit at on those old style stools that spin, and they've got some really cool art for sale on the walls! Right across the street from LCSC, our local State College.

Brought in my 3 year old, very friendly staff not worried about his little mess. Nice quiet place for breakfast or lunch and probably the best huevos rancheros I've ever eaten. Definitely our new favorite breakfast place cant wait to go back for lunch.
