We came on a busy holiday and the restaurant was understaffed. Despite the extended wait times and slight disorganization, the pizzas we ordered were tasty, laid with delicious toppings and a great crust. We also ordered a fresh salad and a dozen oysters that hit the spot for our post-hike meal. Though the pizzas were good, we ordered 3 different options and nearly all shared a similar taste profile.
The pizza was good but failed to impress. I did enjoy that they wood-fired their pizza oven as this did add a nice smokey flavor to the pizza crust. Although the crust was yummy this still didn’t make up for pizzas lacking complex flavor. The chorizo pizza felt like my mom made a taco pizza. And the artichoke pizza just had nothing special, my favorite was the margarita with prosciutto, but it still felt like it was made by my mom in 15 minutes.
The pizza was amazing. The dough is the best and the toppings were top notch. We dined on a Sunday around 1pm and it was busy. Everyone was very helpful and we only had to wait about 20 min for an outdoor table. The owner checked on us several times which was nice. Definitely worth the wait and the drive from Napa Valley. I will definitely be back.
If you like eating charred pizza, you’ll love this place. I took a few bites and it tasted like burnt toast. I brought the pizza back and they said it was just the style of pizza because it’s cooked in a fire oven. If they don’t cook it as long the middle will be soggy. I don’t recommend trying this place for pizza.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
4.5 great pizzas and fresh oysters. They only serve fresh/raw oysters but they are good. Usually busy on the weekends and if you’re willing to wait for over an hour, better have warm layer if you will be there after sunset. Currently sitting outdoors only on picnic benches with only 9 tables. The staff were nice and friendly but they were just busy to overlook that they only provide 2 plates for food people. Dine outdoors only and no take out orders as of 9/4/21.
Really cute place, lovely benches outside! The oysters were super fresh. The pizza dough is made everyday from scratch, we devoured it so quickly that I dont even have photos! Friendly staff too, must visit if you are in the neighborhood.
When I see the word margarita in front of the word pizza I get nervous. My assumption is that we will get a saltine cracker with a tomato and goat cheese. This was not that. The crust was fantastic. It had great texture and taste. The wife also loved the oysters and the coffee. It was a great meal after a long day of hiking at point reyes.
Best pizza I've ever had with a delicious and fresh dough and amazing ingredients and staff!!!! 10/10!!!!
Wife and I went on a Saturday afternoon. Wasn't very crowded. Ordered a salad and large pizza with mushrooms forgot the name, red sauce mozzarella added shrooms. Salad came first. It's was great. Pizza a couple minutes later. It was crunchy crust, good. The pizza was a bit under baked on the rest. We could see the uncooked dough. Overall, I would go back. The pizza tasted great. I would ask for it a bit more well done though.
Pizza had good flavors, an appropriate size menu/offerings, and it's clear they know and are appreciated by the local crowd.
