Great service with generous portions. The clam chowder and the chicken noodle soup were real good. The chocolate mousse cake was excellent. Also the were great letting you sample the soups.Food: 5/5
It is an amazing treat to watch these kids hustle. Every time we come in the door. It feels like that they are short staffed but their effort makes up for any lack of bodies they might have. Lily was running the helm today, and it was inspiring to watch her fill orders and provide training on the fly. She never stopped moving. Chelsey and Justin were others who stood out. These kids know how to work hard. We come to Zupas often and love this location. My go-to’s are always the Cobb Salad and a lobster/cauliflower bisque mix. We have also enjoyed the barbecue chicken salad. They occasionally bring in a specialty sandwich that makes us have to deviate from our regular routine
We're big fans of Zupas, in general, and try to visit when we're in Salt Lake and they are open. It's sandwich / salad / soup type place with some good options. We've eaten at many most? of the Zupas in the valley at this point, and our experience here was pretty average for a Zupas, which is a good thing. Overall, good, fresh food. I'm a fan of their California Cobb salad with a pulled pork or Cuban sandwich. Salads are served with a roll or piece of bread, and I believe all meals are served with a chocolate covered strawberry. Nothing else really notable about this visit. Customer service was friendly, dining area was clean even during a busy lunch rush, and the food was on par for the usual. Only negative thing was that we tried the mac and cheese for the first time, for our toddler. Wasn't great, and definitely not what I would have expected from Zupas. It tasted like they used vegan cheese or something... just wasn't right.
They skimped on my wife’s sandwich which had barely anything in it. The lemonades were all empty and what was left in them was watered down and tasted super weak. Also our whole party of 8 found most of our chocolate covered strawberries to be mushy and on their way to being rotten. Just because you cover them with chocolate doesn’t mean I won’t notice what is hiding underneath.
I’m done going to Zupas. They are so cheap on their toppings. I pay extra for chicken added to my salad and get 5 little cubes. Then the girl literally counted 5 strawberry quarters. I don’t think i even got a whole strawberry on my large salad. Happens everytime. I’ll go somewhere else.Food: 2/5
Ordered a large protein bowl for curbside pickup. I picked it up and when I got home there wasn’t a drop of dressing and the lettuce and toppings were totally dry. I called and they said they would replace it. So I drove all the way back to the restaurant. Ben was the worker who was answered my call and brought my food back out to me. He handed me the replacement protein bowl and said he watched his manager mix the dressing in this time. I got home and opened up and even poorly made protein bowl. Absolutely no dressing again, minimal topping, and meat completely unshredded. I don’t understand what the point was in lying to me. Overall I wasted an hour of my night and money because I can’t even contact anyone to get a refund.
I placed an online order and waited 30mins after the expected pick up time was. I understand that it was probably busy but people that were walking in were getting their orders faster. Some of the employees were just talking to each other and standing there instead of helping.
Salad and sandwich sizes are very small. The salad size is extremely small, it’s not even 1 oz in weight and they are charging almost 10 bucks with 4 tiny pieces of chicken may be shrinkflation Avoid this place if you are hungry, And only order if you don’t feel like eating much and ready to spend lots of money. If someone is charging 10 bucks for sandwich or salad they better make justice to the quantity and not loot in this market . Good place for Lobster soup, if you are soup person then have some soup and nothing else.
It was nice. Service was top-tier. One of the food-makers was very social. He has a memory like a elephant. If you go and tell him your favorite color and if you go back a year later, he will recognize you and tell you your favorite color.Food: 4/5
Last time I went into this Cafe Zupas I was greeted by Lydia and helped by Brynn. This team is absolutely amazing and friendly everytime I go. The food is always the best.Food: 5/5
