I CANNOT express enough how appreciative I am for Mayo. I was so nervous switching over from Gundersen but it was the best dang decision I ever made. My care team listens to me and gets it done so I'm not stuck in a rut getting sicker & sicker
excellent atention! but it's so hard to apply for financial aid! I did it on many occasions, I think they should be realistic with patients who do not have social security that this financial aid is only for people who have social security, not for immigrants! because this application will not be carried out if you do not have your permanent residence! No to discrimination!!!
Couldn't have nicer, more helpful staff anywhere. Everyone from the security guards to the receptionists to the phlebotomists, to the doctors were extremely helpful and kind. Dr. Jennifer MacElroy obgyn is wonderful. She is knowledgeable, experienced, has a sense of humor, allows patients a certain amount of autonomy and discretion, listens well, advocates for her patients, knows and can cite the latest research off the cuff. I was very nervous changing obgyns after a move as I had built a lot of trust with my previous obgyn, and I am so relieved I found Dr. MacElroy. The only downside is that Mayo seems to have some steep billing practices. So only recommended if you have good insurance.
Always had pleasant and professional experiences here as a patient. Friendly staff at the front desk to help get you where you need to go. You will be asked if you’ve had covid exposure and asked to wear a mask upon arrival which they will provide you. Plenty of parking.
Have been waiting in the waiting for for serval hours. I have seen people walk in here after me and they have been helped and I’m still currently waiting. I was sent here from another clinic and they knew I was coming. I talked to another patient in the waiting room and she said she had been waiting for over 4 hours. I have been in a lot of pain and when I asked staff what was going on and got so response. I am highly disappointed in you mayo clinic health system, this is why Gunderson is better!
By far the worst healthcare experience I have ever had. The front desk was slow and had an attitude with me. Afterwards I had to specifically ask for a test after listing an indicating symptom as my chief complaint and told that the sickness was going around. Afterwards, inadequate testing was done for my health and i was sent away with no answers, no help, and still sick to the point of having to return to a healthcare provider. And let me assure you, it was not the Mayo Clinic.
Never had such terrible experience. I went for a second opinion on my eyes and why after 3 surgeries at Gunderson why my vision is still blurry. All they did was ck my eyes and looked to see what Gunderson said, then they said the same thing. Then they called and said I owe them over $300. Never will I waste my time with them.
My mom was brought into the ER with pneumonia. The staff in the ER were fantastic. Robin was her ER nurse and she was kind, professional and attentive. Mom was admitted in the hospital on the 9th floor. The staff on all shifts were fabulous. They answered all my questions and showed lots of TLC to my mom. Dr. Karturi was available whenever to provide me updates and keep me abreast of mom's progress. I feel grateful to have such a fine faculty in our area and rest assured in the knowledge my mom was receiving top notch care. Respectfully submitted by Marilyn Heinz.
I called to find the room number of my sweet mother that was admitted. I could hear the customer service person making fun of our last name while searching for my mother's status. This is supposed to be MAYO...the supposed best? Do better. I am local and will NEVER seek this system out for my family's care ever again. DO BETTER.
Had an awful experience the past two timex I have been here. However, there were two amazing female workers Ashley & Jen the others couldn’t have been worse. I was roofied the night before and was extremely sick. I called mayo, they told me to come in, just for a guy to tell my friend and I who were asking questions “to do our research.” I am sorry for any person who experiences the rude awakening of some of the night workers there, I only came in because the nurse on the phone was scared for my well being.
