Beginning in 2005 as a hobby, Caitlin's Jewelry Gallery was created by myself, Caitlin Hinkle. Two years later, it began to grow on account of walking into department stores and coming across jewelry being sold for $20+. Realizing I could make the jewelry for half the price, I decided to make my hobby into something more. I became apprehensive about what others would think of my pieces, and it made me become a perfectionist causing me to almost lose my dream of making jewelry more affordable to women. Fortunately, my sister-in-law, Jennifer, helped change my mind at Christmas 2010's celebration by persuading me that my talent is something a lot of people cannot do and others have already voiced they like the pieces. The very next day, I decided it was time to start selling so pictures were taken and placed on Facebook. It became a hit, and a few orders were placed. Now, a blog has been made in hopes of reaching more people, especially those who don't have Facebook. My hopes are people will be inspired to not give up on their dreams, and that they can do anything they put their minds to no matter the situation they are going through.
