I have been going to Caits Estate sales and warehouse for years! Been going since they had a storefront, before they opened the warehouse. The staff has always been very helpful and so nice. The sales are organized, clean, and the prices are usually fair. A few times I thought things were high, I found out those prices were set by the homeowner, not them. If I was to have an estate sale, they would be my first choice! I go to quite a few and find they really do a great job!!! And the warehouse is always fun to go through!! Many cute things in the retail store part and great treasures in the consignment area!!

Cait's Estate Sales & Emporium is deserving of all 5 stars. Their professionalism and the evident strength of their team are remarkable. From what I've seen attending their estate sales & warehouse, they pay meticulous attention to detail and go above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience for their customers & clients. The way they set up sales and create an attractive shopping environment showcases their expertise. If I ever need estate sales services in the future, Cait's Estate Sales & Emporium will undoubtedly be my top choice based on their glowing reputation and commitment to excellence.
I've been a customer of Cait's for years- maybe one of their best customers. Not only have I found amazing finds but have built relationships with amazing people like Anne and Nicole who have kept me coming back week after week for so very many years. Today I learned for whatever reason the owner has fired them- this broke my heart! I have seen their dedication to their jobs and amazing customer service- what a shame! As a customer I am EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED!!!
We were NOT pleased with the experience of the estate sale run by Cait's Estates. We had chosen them based on their estate sales that we had attended along with their ability to consign unsold items. In our initial consultation, George told us an approximate number of hours needed to set up the sale and that at the conclusion of the sale they would evaluate what unsold items could be taken for consignment. After that consultation, nearly all other communications were initiated by us. We had to go FIND the link to the sale ourselves to share with our contacts. While the people doing the pricing were very kind and did a nice job laying out the sale, we found multiple items with no price going into the day of the sale. Then on the day of the sale, we found the sale going on with NO yard signs or street signs posted indicating an estate sale was even happening and had to call and get that corrected ourselves. Upon completion of the sale, it took over two full weeks for the results of the sale to be communicated to us, and even then, it was only through snail mail even though ALL other communication had come through email. It was then we learned the pre-sale set up costs came in about 60% higher than had been estimated to us during our consultation with George and there was never any indication that anything was even considered for consignment. Overall, communication from the company was extremely poor in nearly every regard. We do not recommend them
Shopping at Cait’s Estate sale is always a wonderful experience. On today I shopped at 3 different sales, Orland Park, Homer Glen and Mokena. At each location the staff was pleasant, answered questions, and ask if there is something they can help me with. This team is by far the most pleasant and cordial individuals in this field! We love CAITS!!!
As a consignor, I had to only give 4 stars. That's based on you limiting so heavily what you're willing to take from consignors. I suspect your consignment business will eventually be completely replaced by your other business - estate sales - and new items that you purchase to sell. But... Your store has a great selection and is a fun place to shop.
Thank you to George & your team for getting me through this difficult process. The team from Cait's is awesome, from setting up, pricing, & during the sale. 1 small issue where a couple of main street signs were not taken down after the sale & I had a few customers come to the house the day after the sale was over. Thank you for your immediate response when I called to let you know. Your team is fantastic!!
Cait's handled the estate sale for us after our parents passed. They did a wonderful job! They were organized, professional and very aware of how emotional this was for my family. If ever in need to have an estate sale, Cait's is the one to contact!
